Angelina Jolie To Become a Stay-At-Home Mom

Is Angelina Jolie making the move from working mom to stay-at-home mom?

In a new interview, the actress reveals that she is thinking of giving up her career to become a stay-at-home mom as her six children with fiancé Brad Pitt reach their teens.

“I think I’m going to have to give up acting as the kids hit the teenage years,” the Maleficent star told Britain’sChannel 4 News, explaining that there would be “too much to manage at home.”

“I’ve enjoyed being an actress,” she continued. “And I am so grateful to the job. I’ve had great experiences, and I have even be able to tell stories and be a part of stories that mattered…It’s a really lucky profession to be a part of. But if it went away tomorrow, I would be very happy to be home with my children.”

Being at home will also allow her to devote more time to her humanitarian work.

“I wake up in the morning as a mum, and I turn on the news like everybody else, and I see what’s happening, and I want to be part of the world in a positive way,” she said, noting that her philanthropic efforts had become a much bigger part of her life ever since she adopted son Maddox in 2002.

Brad Pitt Doesn’t Betray His Kids By Lying About Santa

Brad Pitt has made the entertainment news quite a bit this week as he’s hit the media circuit to promote his latest flick, Killing Them Softly. He has reflected on the past year which was spent mostly as a hands-on father while his fiance, Angelina Jolie brought home the bacon and he has divulged how he believes that their low key nuptials will happen pretty soon. He was also recently asked about how his kids feel about this time of year and if Santa Claus is alive and well in their hearts. The actor told E! News that his kids may not buy into the notion of a fat guy in a red suit cramming himself down a chimney.

“I’m not big on the whole Santa thing. I thought it was a huge act of betrayal when I was a kid. I didn’t like that. When I found out the truth I was like why? Why? Why would you lie to me? Why? What I tell them is that some people believe it’s Santa and some people believe it’s parents and you get to believe whatever you want.”

I wonder if Angie encourages Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne to believe in Santa and the magic that he supposedly brings. I have a hard time imagining her really investing in such a notion. Angie doesn’t strike me as someone that would be taking an Elf from her shelf and hiding it all over the house to amuse her kids.

Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt’s Six Children Write To Santa

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt‘s children wrote Santa Claus early!

According to a source, Jolie along with her six children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne made a visit to the village of Littlebourne in Kent to send Santa their Christmas letters on Friday.

“It was so cute. All the children sent messages to Father Christmas and were absolutely beautifully behaved,” Littlebourne post office assistant Fiona Lindsay tells People. “Just like any other kids in a sweet shop they were excited, but Angelina controlled them perfectly.”

“The children bought a packet of sweets each, plus a few toys and some magazines, and we ended up having a general chat about how they all were and what they were going to eat that night,” she adds. ”I suggested they pop over to the fish and chip shop across the road as it is a shame to come to England and not have some. I just hoped they liked them! It was lovely. They were all very polite. They were just a bunch of gorgeous, happy kids.”

Staying in a converted barn in the nearby village of Ickham for a week long stay, the family kept a low profile while enjoying visits to nearby Howletts Wild Animal Park and Waterstones bookshop in Canterbury.

Pitt was also spotted taking Maddox to a screening of Skyfall at the Vue Cinema in Broadstairs.

The family are staying in Kent while Pitt films the final scenes for his upcoming thriller World War Z.

Angelina Jolie Gets Ready For Halloween With Her Kids

Angelina Jolie was spotted taking her children Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne out shopping for Halloween costumes at the Halloween Super Store in Sherman Oaks, Ca on Sunday.

The actress wore a black dress with skin colored flats as she protectively carried Knox and held the hand of his twin sister Vivienne as they left the store. Vivienne carried a unicorn purse around her neck while Knox carried an alligator that they had got from the store. Shiloh walked besides her sister while giving the paparazzi a look of death.

Their bodyguard followed behind with a big bag of Halloween decorations.

It was announced recently, that Jolie’s children Pax and Zahara Jolie-Pitt will play small parts in her next feature film Maleficent. They will join Vivienne, who is playing the young version of Princess Aurora (Elle Fanning).

“They have smaller parts,” reveals a source, who adds that Pax and Zahara won’t have speaking roles. “Shiloh was supposed to be in it, too, but she was bored and not in the mood during the day her part was supposed to happen, so she ended up not being in the film.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt‘s are on their way to becoming stars!

Two months ago, Walt Disney Studios confirmed that 4-year-old Vivienne Jolie-Pitt will play the child version of Elle Fanning‘s Princess Aurora in the live-action movie Maleficent and now sources reveal she’s not the only Jolie-Pitt making her big screen debut. Sources reveal that Pax and Zahara will also appear in the movie.

“They have smaller parts,” reveals a source, who adds that Pax and Zahara won’t have speaking roles. “Shiloh was supposed to be in it, too, but she was bored and not in the mood during the day her part was supposed to happen, so she ended up not being in the film.”

Maleficent is a reimagining of the classic fairy tale Sleeping Beauty, told from the villainess’ perspective; Jolie plays the titular role. The film also stars Juno Temple, Sam Riley, Brenton Thwaites, India Eisley, Miranda Richardson and Kenneth Cranham. It’s slated for a March 2014 release.

“It’s a really great script, and I’m having a lot of fun. I’ve already got my horns fitted,” Jolie told Entertainment Weekly.”My kids are very happy.”

Angelina Jolie: Brad “Is More Lenient On The Girls, And I Am More Lenient On The Boys”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt who raise six children together, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne admits she and Brad take on different role when it comes to raising their family.

In an interview with British magazine OK!, the actress admits Brad is lenient on their girls while she is more lienant on the boys.

“He is more lenient on the girls, and I am more lenient on the boys,” she explained.

“We can’t figure out why that is. Maybe it’s because I know women. It’s Freudian. I see them and I recognize them – I know what you are doing. So I think the girls will walk all over Daddy and he is going to love it!”

Despite the engaged couples busy careers they manage to co-ordinate their acting and charity work to ensure one of them is always with their children.

“When he [Brad] is shooting a film, I am not filming and I’m home and I’m just focusing on the kids and on occasion I take trips and do my UN work,” Jolie revealed. “Then when I’m working, he does the same.”

Jolie also reveals that family plans to travel during the holidays rather and she feels that is the best gift to give her children.

“I love to travel in the holidays, because I feel like I’d rather give the kids the gift of a new country than a box of presents. But I still give them some presents!” she laughed.

Jolie recently wrapped up filming her upcoming movie, Maleficent.
