Bill and Giuliana Rancic Are Having Baby Number Two!

Bill and Giuliana Rancic Are Having Baby Number Two!

After the harrowing bout with breast cancer Giuliana Rancic faced, she certainly deserves all the happiness and family in the world. A double mastectomy and a doctor’s warnings about hormone levels aggravating her condition pushed the couple away from normal birth routes. Instead of taking a walk down Adoption Boulevard, they opted to spend thousands of dollars on fertility treatments and surrogacy. Their first baby, Duke, born seven weeks ago, is an adorable test tube baby, and the couple is excited to announce that more Petri dishes are on the way.

“We’ve got a few embryos on ice. They’re ready to go!” Giuliana told Life & Style. “A lot of people have one kid and it’s enough. But for us, we’re just having so much fun that we’d love to have another child.” Because, you know, that’s how babies are made! Mommy kisses daddy, they drive to the doctor, extract their special love for each other, mix it in a bowl, inject it into a lady who will probably be called “Auntie” in the future, and BAM. It’s the miracle of birth. Bill went even further, hinting, “the wheels are in motion, we already have plans in the works!”

The couple hopes to use their first surrogate, Delphine. Please don’t misconstrue my feelings. I wish the couple nothing but happiness. But why, in this country, is it so commonplace to seek these crazy fertility treatments when so many beautiful kids are in need of families? I don’t see any merit in the continuation of your own blood line, and I hope that people watching the stress that Giuliana and Bill faced through this will motivate hopeful parents to consider adoption. Colin Farrell On Fatherhood: “I Don’t Know What I’m Doing, And That’s A Very Liberating Thing!”

Colin Farrell Details Magazine November 2012

Colin Farrell graces cover of the November issue of  Details Magazine while giving his best smoldering look!

In the issue, the actor opens up in a very honest interview about his children, relationships and struggle to get sober.

The father of two boys, James and Henry admits he doesn’t have being a father all planned out and he likes it that way.

”Not knowing what the f-ck I’m doing as a dad is huge. I don’t know what I’m doing, and that’s a very liberating thing. You just go, ‘Oh look, there’s sh-t on the floor.’ There’s actually sh-t on the floor — I have a picture of it on my phone. So what do you do? You clean it up, put a diaper on his ass, and that’s that,” He says of raising kids. “It’s just about being present for these guys.”

Farrell admits when he had his first child, James he was convinced he didn’t need to get sober and could just be a friend to his son.

“When I had James, I made a decision not to change. I literally said, ‘I’m not changing! I’m gonna be his friend!’ Like a f-cking 28-year-old drug-addicted drunk friend is exactly what my 6-week-old son needs.” Finally, he entered rehab in 2006 and solved his problems for once and all. “Honestly,” he says, “I’ve got eight hours a day now that I didn’t have before, when I was drinking every day for 18 years.”

The actor who is in the process of promoting his new movie, Seven Psychopaths says his last relationship was with Henry’s mom and is determined to be a better partner if he ever gets involved again.

“I haven’t been in a relationship in a while. [It's been] two and a half years since I was with Henry’s  mother. If I ever do get involved with somebody again, I will try as much as possible to shut my f-cking mouth and stay f-cking present. Love in action, man! Not love in f-cking words.”

What do you think of Farrell’s interview? Do you think he has left his bad boy ways behind?

Brad Pitt Doesn’t Want To Embarrass His Six Kids

Brad Pitt Doesn’t Want To Embarrass His Six Kids

Brad Pitt might have more kids than a small civilization in the South Pacific, but the actor never backs down from placing his children and family ahead of his own career. In the October/November issue of Interview magazine, the actor opens up about what the future holds for his career and for his six children – Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne.

Pitt, engaged to super actor Angelina Jolie, wants to leave a legacy behind for his family and does not want to “embarrass them”. Don’t worry, we doubt you’ll be able to embarrass the most die-hard of families (Honey Boo Boo’s included).

He says about his future film roles, “I want it to be worthy of enough of a story to leave the family, you know? They’re everything. The family is first. I also don’t want to embarrass them.” The actor also opens up about the quality of people in his life, work and projects, “Even more, as I get older, it’s about the company that I keep. That’s the most important thing to me – that if I’m gonna spend however long it takes to make a movie, give up 14 hours a day for however many weeks or months, then it’s very important for me to know that I’m working with people who I respect and enjoy and that we’re going for something together. That’s it really.

There’s still no word on when Pitt and Jolie will be getting married, but many pundits have referred to the legalization of gay marriage as the deciding factor in the Pitt/Jolie engagement. Both actors are active supporters of the legalization of gay marriage and have said before that they will only get married once gay marriage is recognized in every state in America.

Until such time, we’re treated to the daily shenanigans of the Pitt/Jolie family and that adorable civilization they call “kids”.
