Camila Alves was spotted leaving her hotel in New York City with her kids on December 18. Sporting a pretty casual tire, including faded jeans and sneaks, the Brazilian model is hugging her daughter Vida, 3, in her left arm while her she’s holding onto her son Levi, 5, with her other hand. Absent in the shot are son Livingston, 1, and hubby and father to all three kids, Matthew McConaughey.

Alves was signed to Macy’s I.N.C. International Concepts in 2012 as the new face for the division of the popular American retailer. Although she is Brazilian, the model has been living and breathing USA for over 10 years. She met McConaughey in 2006 and the couple have been together ever since. Matthew McConaughey‘s wife, Camila Alves was pictured taking their children Levi,Vida and newborn son Livingston out for lunch in New Orleans, Louis on Saturday (Jan. 26).

The model who only gave birth one month ago showed no signs she was ever pregnant. She looked slim as ever in a white blouse and tights while holding the hands of Levi and Vida. A nanny followed behind carrying Livingston in carseat that was covered with a blue blanket.

Matthew McConaughey has confirmed that he and his wife Camila Alves welcomed a baby boy, whom they named Livingston.

The Magic Mike actor took to his Facebook profile to announce the news and clear up the rumours that they had welcomed a baby girl.

“Camila Alves gave birth to our third child yesterday morning. Our son, Livingston Alves McConaughey, was born at 7:43 a.m on Dec. 28, 2012,” McConaughey wrote. “He greeted the world at 9 lbs. and 21 inches. Bless up and thank you for your well wishes.”

Good news for Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila Alves, they have welcome their third child today [December 28th, 2012].  The couple announced on July 4th that they were expecting again, “happy birthday America, more good news, Camila and I are expecting our 3rd child, God bless, just keep livin.”

TMZ is reporting that,Camila Alves gave birth earlier this morning at a hospital in Austin, TX. We’re told Matthew was there, he was ecstatic for the new arrival (clearly) … and even looked like he’d packed on a few pounds.”

Matthew McConaughey and his his family spent the day walking along the shoreline of the Hudson River in New York City on Sunday. Pregnant wife Camila Alves wore a flattering blue dress while she held hands with two-year-old Vida and three-year-old Levi.  McConaughey wore a jean shirt with jeans while holding Levi’s hand as he walked their family dog.

McConaughey is in the process of dropping 30lbs for his new film, The Dallas Buyer’s ClubIn the film which begins filming in mid-September, McConaughey plays real-life AIDS victim Ron Woodroof alongside two-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank.

‘I’m playing a guy who was sick and would have loved to have been healthier but wasn’t,’ McConaughey told US Weekly.  ‘For me, it’s more of a mental thing than a physical thing. I’ll get down to the weight I need to get to. I’m on my way, and it’s what I need to do for the job.’

Matthew Mcconaughey Backs Campaign To Keep Kids In School (Photos)


Matthew McConaughey is pictured here during his P&G GIVE Education Campaign supported by his foundation Just Keep Livin held at Venice High School on August 15, 2012 in Venice, California. His expecting wife Camila Alves watched her husband from a near by bench with a few students.

Matthew is backing a new campaign to keep kids in school in the United States.  Matthew, and his just keep livin foundation (j.k. livin) are one of 15,000 community organizations that Communities In Schools has partnered with to channel much-needed resources to children who are at the greatest risk of dropping out.

“I created the j.k. livin foundation so we can help children make positive and healthy changes in themselves and the world around them – and at the most basic level for many, that starts with graduating high school,” said McConaughey. “I am a firm believer in the power and necessity of mentorship, and by teaming with GIVE Education, we’re ensuring that people learn about the inspiring and effective work mentors are doing across the country to combat the dropout crisis.”

GIVE Education is part of the P&G GIVE program, a social sustainability platform designed to inspire and enable people to use their everyday purchases to touch lives and improve life.
