This time it is over a tweet that he shared on Twitter and it was shortly after he forgot his son, Gabe Brown’s 21st birthday. This happened a year ago and in the tweet, he is all about the birthdays of his family. Now fans have started giving him even more backlash after we saw Gabe getting very upset when Kody forgot his birthday.

The tweet is from 2021 and Kody wrote, “We have always made birthdays a big deal. Maybe even an overindulgence in some opinions. But I defend a big deal birthday as homage and celebration of each family member. It’s important.” With this tweet out in public, his son is crying his eyes out over the fact that his father can’t even remember his birthday. If Kody is so good about making birthdays a big deal, how can he not even remember one of his son’s birthdays?
When fans saw the tears in Gabe’s eyes, they immediately stood up for him. This was quite embarrassing for a father to forget a child’s birthday. Yes, he does have a lot of children, but fans think that this shows how he feels about the children that he has with the other wives. This is just one example of how Kody favors Robyn Brown and her children. As fans’ hearts break for Gabe, they were quick to share how they felt for him and how Kody really needs to step up his parenting game.

As soon as fans brought back the tweet, the comments kept coming in about how Kody is such a hypocrite. One wrote, “Kody is contradicting himself with less and less time in between each contradiction.” Another added, “Only kids of loyal wives get birthday wishes from their father.” Another chimed in with, “And this right here is why Gave was devastated when he forgot his birthday. He makes a big deal out of birthdays and therefore when yours get skipped, you know how he feels about you.”
During COVID, Kody made a lot of rules for his family and it seemed as if Janelle Brown’s children got a lot of hate from him for violating his rules. Gabe ended up getting COVID and the way that Kody treated him was horrible. The fact that this is how he is with Gabe is really upsetting and we do hope that he will see the error of his ways and apologize to his son.
