General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) has only been back from California for a couple of weeks. She was never expecting to see her when she traveled to their home in Monterey as it is, so the unexpected surprise still has her a bit rattled. Liz is trying to make sense of how she feels about herself now that she knows what she did to Reiko Finn (Mele Ihara), and she’s trying to picture herself still being able to move forward with a relationship with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). The last thing she needs is someone else making demands of her, but she’s going to be in for another surprise when her dad, Jeff Webber (William R. Moses), returns to GH letting her know he’s still in town. What is he still doing in Port Charles and why won’t he back off?
General Hospital Spoilers — Jeff Webber Shows Up Unannounced, Again
When Jeff springs himself on Elizabeth again, she’s going to feel a mixture of irritation and exhaustion. He knows his presence frustrates his daughter, but he’s still holding out hope that she will give him a chance to make this up to her — and make up for the lost time. Elizabeth honestly hasn’t even given her father’s proposal much thought since the first time he dropped it in her lap. She’s been rather consumed with Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) affairs, as Finn is well aware.
General Hospital Updates – Elizabeth Baldwin Isn’t As Angry
Although Elizabeth is frustrated with the entire situation, she’s also completely depleted and doesn’t have much more to give — to anyone. She doesn’t know what she wants from the future with her father, or her mother for that matter — who hasn’t come calling the way her dear old dad did. She’s also not sure whether her relationship with Finn is even going to last much longer. So it might not be such a conflict if she decides to entertain letting her dad mend the fences he created all those years ago.
Where Do We Go From Here?
Elizabeth isn’t stupid. She hasn’t had her parents in her life for 25 years, and her boys don’t know them. Maybe there’s no reason to hold on to a grudge at this point. Maybe her life would be easier with her family in it. These are theories she’ll entertain as her dad makes another plea for her attention. If Finn is present for this exchange as well, will he interject his opinions — or his right hook — again? Elizabeth has found herself sandwiched between the two men who should mean the most to her in her life, and she’s finding neither means all that much anymore as they pull her in opposite directions.
