General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) would ruin Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) if she found out the truth about what Carly has been up to. The former Mrs. Corinthos has known for months that Nina is actually Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) birth mother. She has chosen to take that secret to her grave, and she never expected any circumstances would arise that would call for her to share what she knows. Carly made her first mistake when she lied to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) about the result of the DNA test she had run on Nina and Willow. When it was confirmed they were mother and daughter, she told Drew they weren’t a match. If Carly told him the truth now, she would have to explain why she lied to him in the first place — back before they ever became romantically involved. She knows that one single lie could spell the undoing of her relationship, and she’s not ready to give that up — not even for Willow.
General Hosptial Updates – Brick Pulls Through, Once Again
Carly’s first call will be to Brick (Stephen A. Smith). She knows she can trust him — even if she’s done something wrong. He’ll help her clean up the mess she’s made without asking any questions. However, if Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) gets wind of them working on anything together again, Brick might feel obligated to spill the beans before Sonny once again gets the wrong idea.

It might be by way of Brick that Sonny learns Carly needed help, but ultimately it’s going to be Carly who asks Sonny to help her cover up the truth. Will Sonny turn on Nina and help Carly keep another daughter and grandchild out of Nina’s reach? Right now on the surface, it looks like Sonny is happy with Nina and would never let anyone hurt her. But the truth is, he’s waiting for his next opportunity to circle back around to his ex-wife, and if this is the only way she’s going to give him another chance to be in her life, he might take it.
