Quinn was telling Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) that she created the heart monitor ring to keep tabs on her husband’s health. She is telling the truth because Quinn does not suspect Eric has reconnected with Donna.

Donna should not have enabled Eric to use her. But she did because he is the love of her life.
Eric did not begin cavorting because he intended to leave Quinn and remarry Donna. Instead, Gareis’ character is someone he can trust.
So, Donna is with a man she loved and lost many years ago and Eric is harboring resentment against Quinn because of what happened with Carter. However, Eric’s choice to pull away from Quinn, rather than tell her he was diagnosed with ED sparked the dysfunctional dynamic that now includes a fourth person.
The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – Quinn Fuller’s Feelings Were Understandable
Quinn had no idea that Eric was embarrassed by his diagnosis. As later proved true, Quinn instantly sympathized with his condition.
The love and support she offered to Eric appeared to make him appreciate her more than ever. But the revealed connection with Carter, which Eric initially endorsed, created deeper psychological issues than McCook’s character was willing to admit.
Quinn was right to feel that Eric did not love her. While she should not have grown close to Carter, Eric’s honesty likely would have prevented an issue between this married couple from happening.
Eric Forrester Still In Love?
Eric is comfortable with Quinn. He hid his problem in hopes of wishing away reality.
At this stage of his life, Eric appreciates the routine of his personal life. The ED diagnosis shattered his expectations and led to problems that have expanded.
It does not appear that Eric wants to remain committed to Quinn, even though he told Donna that their romantic meetings must end. Viewers recall that Eric made various pronouncements in the past to Quinn and then went back on them.
The ring reveal should test the strength of whatever tie exists between Eric and Quinn, with both characters having other love options.
