The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that during the week of December 27, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will make a difficult decision regarding Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor. Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) is alarmed when Devon announces he wants the surrogacy documents changed.
Confiding In Nate Hastings
Y&R spoilers reveal that Devon was handling his connection to Dominic. Then, Devon was asked to take care of Dominic while Abby went to search for Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd). While Abby was gone, Devon became extremely attached to the baby. Although Devon freely gave the child back to Abby, he’s been struggling ever since.
During the week of December 27, Devon will talk to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) about the situation. Devon will have a difficult decision to make regarding the baby.
Y&R Spoilers: Amanda Sinclair’s Concern
Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) has already spoken with Devon about his feelings for the child. Amanda suggested that Devon just ask Abby and Chance for more time with Dominic. Considering that they are all close friends, there really shouldn’t be any hesitation in doing that. Both Chance and Abby keep talking about how grateful they are for Devon’s role in helping create Dominic as well as caring for him while Abby was gone.
However, Devon won’t do that but will take a different and riskier approach.
Confronting ‘Chabby’
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Devon will meet with Chance and Abby to discuss Dominic. They are both completely blindsided when Devon announces he wants the legal agreement changed. Instead of simply having an “uncle/friend” type role in the child’s life, he wants a parental-type role along with more visitation time.
While discussing Dominic, Devon can’t help but notice how uncomfortable Chance seems with the father figure role he has.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Mother’s Allegation
In the weekly preview for the week of December 27, Abby fires an allegation at Devon. The new mother accuses him of trying to get joint custody of the baby. Is this what Devon’s intentions are or does he simply want more time with the child he’s already bonded with? If Devon’s intentions are just for some more one-on-one time, then why doesn’t he just ask instead of going the legal route?
What do you think is going to happen when Devon demands the legal papers be revised? Will Chance and Abby agree to Devon’s request or will it end up going to court? How will this affect their friendship and could this cause problems between Devon and Amanda? We will have to keep watching the CBS soap to find out.
