The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Kyle Makes Two Costly Mistakes – Is Patty About to Win Again?

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) wants revenge. So, he’s pursuing a transactional alliance with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) and is in Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) proximity.

Patty is in jail but has also been unable to be restrained, leaving fans wondering how long it will be before she wiggles out of real justice. Kyle understands her history, which is why he wants to work with her while she’s accessible.

Meanwhile, the unbreakable friendship between Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) affords Kyle and Victoria a plot reason to commiserate.

Patty Williams Doesn’t Blame Jack Abbott

Patty loves Jack, in her mind. In reality, she was wronged by him decades ago and has sought repeated payback ever since

Most recently, she agreed to Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) pitch to work for him.

That led to her drugging Jack on a yacht and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters), Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), and Kyle finding them in an intended position.

Kyle’s thought process is clear. He believes Patty can be persuaded to provide damning information about how Victor lured, funded, and fueled her attacks against his parents.

Victor Newman Is The Rogue

Victor knew full well that Patty was unstable. With whatever her connection with Dr. Laurence Markham (Jere Burns), he was purely a facilitator.

It was Victor who wanted Patty to be involved with Jack once again. Viewers recall that Newman Enterprises was lost at that point in the plot and that Victor was lashing out at what he considered to be easy targets, even though Jack and Diane had nothing to do with that business loss.

Patty will need to provide Kyle was consequential proof that can’t be disputed. If so, Christine Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) could prosecute Victor for some form of intent to harm Jack. That’s the type of outcome Kyle is seeking.

But viewers can ask what Patty will receive in return, other than the satisfaction of punishing the man who used her?

Any ongoing involvement with Patty opens the daytime door to her being able to win by somehow having her legal issues reduced. Another escape from jail can’t be ruled out either.

Victoria Newman Is On Her Own

There was a moment or two in recent months when it felt like Victor might reconnect with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). That would have been a nice retro story to explore, and it remains a possibility.

However, it’s fair to suggest that Kyle and Victor could become romantically entangled as part of his plan to get the Old Boy. Kyle feels Victor is ripe for a revenge attack of her own.

So, with Victor alone and vulnerable, it’s not out of the question to think Kyle could distract him by pursuing Victoria. That would play off the conflict that existed between Victor and Billy.
