A recent discussion about an Unidentified Anomalous Phenomenon (UAP) case and an alleged extraterrestrial survivor is raising eyebrows.

A Reported Brazilian Sighting

The discussion arose on NewsNation’s Elizabeth Vargas Reports, and she spoke with Missouri Representative Eric Burlison about a legendary 1996 event in Brazil.

It’s a tale of a crashed object, military secrecy, and strange creatures. Vargas noted that some call it “the Roswell of South America.” The claims are extraordinary, but Burlison says he wants answers from U.S. intelligence agencies about this specific event.

A Town in Panic

The mystery began thirty years ago. In 1996, residents in Varginha, Brazil, reported a cigar-shaped object falling from the sky. According to several accounts, three girls claimed they saw an extraterrestrial creature. They described a being with “red eyes and oily skin.”

Rumors spread fast. Locals whispered that the Brazilian military captured the creatures. People believed the military handed them to the FBI and the CIA. The claims remain unproven, as is often the case with a controversial UAP report.

What the Witnesses Claim They Saw

Burlison recently met with witnesses who traveled from Brazil to Washington. He heard their stories through a translator.

One witness, Carlos, said he found wreckage. He picked up a piece of metal that looked like “aluminum foil.” He said he crumpled it, but it “instantly resumed its shape.”

A Medical Person Weighed In

A doctor also spoke. He claimed he treated what he believes was an injured extraterrestrial visitor. He described the being as small with a “teardrop-shaped head.” He said he believed the being was “intelligent,” and he also suggested that the alleged extraterrestrial sensed it was “grateful” for the medical help.

Perhaps the strangest part of the doctor’s story is how the creature reacted to our medicine. Burlison said the doctor felt the alien was “placating us.” It supposedly thought it was “almost cute” that humans tried to heal it.

If the doctor’s account were accurate, it raises an intriguing thought. Would a highly advanced visitor view our best medicine the way we might watch a child playing doctor?

A Soldier’s Death

The story took a darker turn, though, because allegedly, one of the Brazilian soldiers who helped at the scene touched the wreckage or the being. He died shortly after.

According to the account discussed by Burlison, tests on the soldier’s blood allegedly found an “unknown microorganism.”

Because of this, Burlison wants the FBI to request that authorities “exume the body” to study the bacteria. It’s a bold request. Whether Brazilian authorities would ever agree to dig up a soldier based on a UAP rumor is a different story.

Chasing the Paper Trail

Burlison remains skeptical. He isn’t a true believer. He said, “I just am not someone that’s going to believe it until I experience it myself.”

Still, he wants the truth, so he sent letters to the CIA and the FBI. He wants their flight logs from 1996 to see if any U.S. planes flew into that part of Brazil.

Vargas asked if the CIA would know about a retrieved spacecraft, and Burlison agreed that “one would think” they would.

So far, the agencies haven’t answered his letters. Burlison said he knows they are looking into it. For now, the public waits. Whether we get hard facts or more silence remains to be seen.
