General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that in the immortal words of NBA enforcer Matt Barnes: “violence is never the answer … except when it is.” Which is a way of saying that when Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) slugged Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) this week in Port Charles, New York, passionate fans immediately took sides in the bruhaha that is Nina-Gate.
On Wednesday, December 29th epi of GH the courtroom was the place to be, with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) chaste Nixon Falls romance being blown wide open. Michael couldn’t handle the truth and socked Nina’s lawyer Scotty for exposing the fact that his dad has kept the whole family in the dark for weeks now. It would seem Michael’s anger is a bit misplaced?
General Hospital Spoilers – Michael Corinthos Is A Mad Man
Both Chad and Kin got in on the social media action, defending their characters. In response to some light-hearted fan protest, Chad noted that Scott, “Had it coming.”
Perhaps he is biased since Scott got the truth to emerge from Michael’s GF Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Willow knew all about the twin flames but kept it to herself. Until she got on the witness stand and was threatened with perjury, that is. At that point, St. Willow went all in to protect herself and Nina let her have it afterward. Both women were equally venomous in the aftermath and we have a feeling their tiff is not over. Will Willow withhold visitation from Wiley, Nina’s grandson? Perhaps Nina should have thought twice before she went scorched earth on Willow.

General Hospital executive producer Frank Valentini also got in on the Michael/Scott slap fest to which Kin posted, “Yup, Scotty gets what he always gets?”
Fans Take Sides
Kin’s fans were eager to give their take on the epi with one posting, “This was one of the best episodes. From Michael decking Scott, the tear in my eye when Sonny was talking to Charly +The tears she was so hurt) and Sonny’s anguish. Emmy gold!”
Another wrote, “Oh Kin, Team Scott always. Great work from you in those scenes these past few days. As for Michael, he’s a punk, nothing more,” and one reminded, “Nina’s mad but he saved her from jail. His reward will be waiting at home with Liesl schnitzel!”
