Area15 In Las Vegas To Host A Series Of Adventures This Summer
Located just off the Las Vegas Strip, Area15 is the newest entertainment district that opened last fall.
If you think Las Vegas is only about gambling and shows, think again. Area15 is a vast, immersive playground located just west of the Las Vegas Strip. The entertainment district opened last fall and offers everything from fantastic art exhibitions, zip line races, ax throwing, music festivals, live entertainment, shopping, dining, and more. Here we briefly delve into some of the options available at the Area15 entertainment district in Las Vegas this summer.
‘A Series’ Music Entertainment
This summer, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Area15 will host a series of famous DJs in its 32,000 sq ft, outdoor A-Lot. This is the perfect fresh air experience of the season. The music covers several genres, including dance, electronic, and house beats, and will be available every Saturday night through September.
Winston Fisher, CEO of Area 15, said in a statement, “Hosting events such as ‘A Series’ is exactly what A-Lot was designed to do and what we envisioned since the beginning.”
“Space seamlessly fuses art with music, while the Las Vegas Strip provides a picturesque backdrop. It doesn’t get any better than that,” he added.
Doors will open at 9 pm and the DJs take to the stage at midnight. An outdoor beer garden will be available for guests aged 21 and older. Early-access tickets start at $10 for guests aged 21 and older and $15 for guests from 18 to 20 years of age.
Omega Mart is a new, interactive experience from the groundbreaking art collective, Meow Wolf of Santa Fe. The stunning art collection was created by local and international artists and takes visitors on a journey through immersive storytelling, surreal worlds, and playful exhibits to tease the imagination.
Heading through Omega Mart takes visitors on a journey to discover secret portals, explore fascinating landscapes or merely soak up the innovative art A-Series.
‘Starry Night’ Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience
This remarkable exhibition allows visitors to step into the universe of Dutch artist, Vincent van Gogh. Step into the paintings of one of the greatest artistic geniuses of the 19th century for a truly immersive experience.
The unique display allows visitors to experience Van Gogh’s iconic work in 360-degree digital projections, surrounded by an atmospheric light and sound show. For refreshment, full-bar cocktail service is available.
Museum Fiasco ‘Cluster’ by Playmodes Studio
Next, explore Cluster, an immersive audiovisual installation, exploring the relationships between space, time, and perception. This skillfully crafted synchronization of sound and light explores the limits of human perception.
The audiovisual discourse consists of a series of sequential abstract scenes, each exploring various concepts and taking visitors on a “psychic journey of abstract geometry.” The experience runs for around 12 minutes.
For a more relaxing experience, head to Emporium – a place that is part bar, bar arcade, and part event venue. It is a combination of old-fashioned games arcades, mixed with modern craft beer halls and fancy cocktail bars.
Visitors can play dozens of new or classic arcade games, watch fascinating murals come to life, or simply enjoy a selection from the beverage menu. On top of all this, nightly music and other events are there to entertain.
