The Bold and the Beautiful Star Ashley Jones Gets Real About Life, Love, Loss and Social Media

The Bold and the Beautiful star Ashley Jones (Bridget Forrester) recently opened up about life, loss, love, and sharing it all on social media. Here’s what she has to say.

Sharing a photo of her and her son Hayden enjoying a beach day together, Ashley shared,

“This morning I received yet another message from someone going through a divorce. She asked how I was getting through mine with a smile on my face because she feels so sad and alone. That gutted me. I don’t often address this part of my life here, but if it makes others feel less alone, maybe it makes sense to do so? Sharing our experiences empowers us. I put on a smile on for this guy right here. And I try to be positive on this page. While these images, videos and ideas are fun to share and true experiences (like this one pictured last weekend on the beach), naturally they do not represent my WHOLE life.”

Ashley continued,

“Last week marked one year that I started this process of building a new life. And the process is not over. To those messaging me about divorce, domestic abuse and being a single parent, I’m sorry if it seemed like we do not have the same issues, feelings, struggles and grief. We do. NOTHING about this transition is easy- it’s financially and physically depleting – even paralyzing at moments. But I’m learning those moments do pass. Some days are better than others, but EVERY DAY we are one step closer to the other side. You are not alone. I’m rooting for you to come out stronger and wiser. And the community on this page will root for you.”

Of course, it didn’t take very long for her social media followers to comment on her post. Many wrote, “Wishing you strength. I’m watching helplessly as my daughter goes through the same process, and admire the strength it took to leave an abusive situation and fight her way through the restraining order and complicated divorce process. It is SO worth having him gone!” along with, “You are such a lovely and strong woman! You will emerge even stronger with this attitude. Your son is so lucky to have you. Been there many years ago with two sons. It is so challenging!”

Actress Willa Ford wrote,

“I am so proud of you. I first hand have seen it all and have watched as you’ve been on your knees praying for strength. You are an incredible friend ,a fantastic mother and an inspiration to anyone that feels like giving up.”
