Trina has been framed by Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) for a crime that she did not commit. Esme filmed Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) having sex for the first time and broadcasting the footage online. Trina has been trying to prove that she is innocent. Trina and Joss went to Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to get help to find out information about the cell phone that Esme used to make the video. Spinelli told Joss and Trina that the cell phone had been purchased illegally. Trina and Joss went to find the person that Esme bought the cell phone from but could not get the information that they needed. Trina told her mother Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), her father Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews), and Curtis about the lead that she had found about the phone. Portia and Taggert were impressed but concerned that Trina had taken a risk to clear her name. Curtis believes that Trina should let him try to get the information that they need about the cell phone. Curtis may want to get his father Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) to help him to find the man that sold the cell phone to Esme. Curtis wants to help Trina to get out of her legal troubles.
