The Counting On spoilers have fans wondering which Duggar kids are still with the IBLP. The user earyan01 posted on the DuggarsSnark Reddit: “With Joy recently confirming that she and Austin are not part of the IBLP, it got me wondering which of the adult Duggar kids are in or out.”
Joy-Anna Duggar confirmed that she left, along with her husband Austin Forsyth. Jill and Jinger Duggar have also spoken out against the conservative religion.
Both of them have books about their experience with the faith and the Duggar family. The original poster came up with a list of Duggar kids who are still involved with the IBLP.
The list includes Josh’s wife Anna Duggar, Jana, Jess and Ben Seewald, Joseph and Kendra, Josiah and Lauren, Jed and Katey, and Jeremiah and Hannah. Fans took to the thread to react. Some believe that Joy-Anna is lying about not being involved with the IBLP.
“I feel like when Joy says she’s not in the cult it’s misleading. IBLP is dying. It has been since Gothard was revealed as a predator. But some of the people who practiced it still have the same beliefs just under a different umbrella. I wouldn’t be surprised if they rebrand down the line,” the user noted.
“That’s true. I wonder if there will be a new version of IBLP that emerges. Yes or rebrand. Kinda wonder why they haven’t. Seems like their PR people would be like, ‘we need to get on it stat,'” another fan wrote.
Counting On Spoilers: Fans Catch Joy-Anna Duggar In A Lie
The Counting On spoilers suggests that Joy-Anna Duggar was caught in a lie. Some don’t believe that she left the IBLP. Others argued that she has been outspoken about the abuse.
“Joy and Austin have been very vocal about the abuse. They are anti-Josh. I would not be surprised at all if they were anti-Gothard (the man himself) for the same reason. As much as Joy comes off as ditsy she makes better choices than her parents,” one fan noted.
