General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Dr. Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) and Curtis Ashford (Donell Turner) may finally be ready to have an honest-to-goodness romance. They were involved once before, as viewers know, but Curtis didn’t know Portia was married to Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) while they were together. When he found out, Curtis left Portia immediately. Portia and Taggert have long since divorced, and Curtis is in the process of divorcing Jordan Ashford (Brianna Nicole Henry). Could this finally be the right time for Curtis and Portia to have a real romance?

Curtis’ Aunt Stella Henry (Vernae Watson) didn’t want Curtis to be with Jordan in the beginning. She actively plotted to separate them, but ultimately Curtis and Jordan married anyway. Stella eventually came around and even became Jordan’s greatest supporter, especially when it became apparent that Curtis and Jordan would be divorcing. She warned Portia away from Curtis and Portia took the bait. But once Curtis found out about Stella’s interference he laid into his aunt. But will Stella continue to throw her weight around and find another way to keep Portia and Curtis apart? Or will Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) pick up where Stella left off?
General Hospital Updates – Trina Robinson Could Be Another Obstacle For Curtis Ashford And Dr. Portia Robinson!
Curtis and Portia’s daughter Trina haven’t always seen eye to eye. When it seemed as though Taggert had died, Trina blamed Curtis for rescuing her instead of helping Taggert. Trina knows that Taggert is alive now, and she gave Curtis a heartfelt apology not all that long ago. But that doesn’t mean she wants her mother and Curtis to start a new romance.
Deep down, Trina may still want Portia and her father Taggert to reconcile. But what if Trina is wrong about who her father really is. Although Portia has denied it to Curtis, the timing is still suspect and Trina might actually be Curtis’ daughter. Curtis might very well be happy to know he has a child, but that doesn’t mean he would forgive Portia for keeping the truth from him all this time. This is the one thing that could end any romance between Portia and Curtis before it has a chance to even begin!
