16 And Pregnant Star Arrested For Shoplifting

You know you are at an all time low when you get caught for shoplifting a pregnancy test at Wal-Mart. What can be worse? Hmmm….let me see – perhaps getting caught for USING IT IN THE STORE!

Ewwwwww!!!! I just don’t really know what to say about this. Whitney Purvis, 20, who stars on the MTV show ’16 And Pregnant’ was arrested in Georgia yesterday after it was discovered she stashed a pregnancy test in her jacket then went into the bathroom to use it. I’m no expert, but aren’t you supposed to flee the scene of the crime?

Whitney was taken into the police station after unsuccessfully attempting to exit through a side door. She was booked for misdemeanor theft by shoplifting. The pregnancy test cost $15.98. Sad..so very, very sad.

A Unique Baby Name For Peaches Geldof

British It girl Peaches Geldof is sharing more than the usual expectant celebrity. The 22 year old has not only revealed the sex of her unborn child, but the name as well. She’s told Hello! magazine her baby boy is going to be called Astala Dylan Willow Cohen-Geldof. Quite a distinguished name!

Peaches and fiance Thomas Cohen – a singer – only recently announced the pregnancy. They kept it a secret for so long because they wanted to ‘enjoy this sacred time as a couple‘. She’s now six months along and due on April 24. And this first time Mom and Dad are getting excited.

Peaches has a very famous Dad. Sir Bob Geldof is a former rocker who put together Live Aid in the mid 1980s. He is tickled pink about becoming a grandfather and became ‘overwhelmed and emotional‘ when he found out. ‘Oh my God, he was so happy, especially as I’m having a boy. The poor man’s been surrounded by women up till now. I knew he would be happy but I didn’t’ realise how over the moon he would be. He’s always been very supportive of me‘.

He’s also given his son-in-law to be the thumbs up ‘He offered Tom a glass of champagne and told me he was glad it was Tom because, of all the boyfriends I’ve had, he’s the favorite. He told us we must never break up; that we must make our child happy, get married and be together forever‘.

The former wild child is now getting ready for motherhood. She’s admitted to buying little Astala plenty of clothes. She likes vintage wear but is also surfing the net looking for cute outfits as well.

David Beckham Explains Daughter Harper Seven’s Name

David Beckham has revealed the reasons behind his newborn daughter Harper Seven’s name. In an interview, David says they named her after Harper Lee, the author of Victoria’s favorite book To Kill a Mockingbird.

He said: ‘A lot of thought goes into our children’s names and Harper was a name that we’ve loved for a long time for a couple of reasons”.

‘One reason is Harper’s an old English name which we loved and one of the other reasons was Victoria’s favorite book is To Kill A Mockingbird and the author was Harper Lee. It’s a very strong, passionate book. That’s where Harper came from.’

David’s former shirt number for Manchester United and England also played a strong part in them choosing Seven as a middle name.

‘And then Seven you know, a lot of people have assumed its just because of my shirt number that I wore for many years and part of it is because I had so much luck around wearing that number, wearing it for England, wearing it for Manchester United. It was such an influential number throughout my career and a lucky number… but that wasn’t the main reason. The other reasons behind Seven was because it symbolizes spiritual perfection, the Seven Wonders Of The World, seven colours of the rainbow and in many cultures around the world it’s regarded as a lucky number.’

‘So we love the name, we love Harper Seven. We’re very proud of having her in our lives and in our family and it’s an amazing time for our family right now.’

’16 and Pregnant’ Star Aubrey Wolters Arrested!

’16 and Pregnant’ star Aubrey Wolters was arrested after she and a friend were caught shoplifting at her local Walmart while with her baby. The MTV star became a wife and mother before she finished high school which doesn’t usually auger well for a happy future these days. Apparently unable to function as a responsible adult Aubrey just can’t seem to behave and is turning (or is that REturning) to crime and drugs.

A police report states that Aubrey stole $29.66 worth of cosmetics from the store but that is not the worst of it. When police searched her purse they discovered drugs – Aubrey was in possession of Ritalin, the stimulant used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy, and the powerful painkiller OxyContin and she didn’t have a prescription for either of them. Both drugs are commonly used by teens (and others) to get high.

Both Aubrey and her friend were slapped with shoplifting charges and ordered to stay away from Walmart for one year. But Aubrey, mom of 17-month-old Austin, is also being charged with possession of a prescription drug without a prescription and possession of a dangerous drug.

As police hauled Aubrey off to juvenile detention, her estranged husband and the poor baby’s daddy, Brandon Akerill, was called to come pick up their son.

Aubrey drew criticism after her appearance on the reality show because of her hard partying and explosive temper, even around her child. Of course this type of horrible behavior on Aubrey’s part is exactly what MTV hopes for – too bad there is an innocent baby that has to be along for this disgusting ride. I would charge Aubrey and MTV with child abuse and suspend the show.
