The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and updates tease that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) created a problem for herself. She never should have blurted out her opinion of Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) plight.
The moment that Sheila forcefully broached the subject and followed by loudly stating Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and his family should be grateful. Why would they offer gratitude to the woman who shot Taylor Hayes (as then played by Hunter Tylo)?
Thomas seized on Sheila’s brag and later went to her hotel suite to revisit the issue. Doing so netted him stunning information. Sheila fed Brooke alcohol on New Year’s Eve, which led to the seeming end of her marriage to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), which Thomas was hoping for.

Sheila reacted with ferocity when Brooke threatened her. That happened at Il Giordino, before the end of the year.
As devoted fans recall, Brooke promised to shield John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Samantha Worden and Piper Harriet) from Sheila. That was an outrageous claim because Brooke intended to prevent Sheila from seeing her son, daughter-in-law, and grandson.
However, Sheila did not respond in the same way when Thomas threatened to tell his dad everything. She replied by detailing how the champagne label switch allowed Brooke to drink.

Thomas does not like Brooke. But he was disgusted by Sheila’s admission.
The now reformed character Atkinson plays has a conscience. That sets him apart from who Thomas used to be.
While Thomas wanted his parents to reconcile, he disagrees with the methods Sheila used to make that happen. Yet, he is currently torn about how to proceed. That establishes a dangerous conflict.

If Thomas remains silent, Sheila will likely try to use his compromised position to her advantage. She wants access to Finn and Hayes, so Thomas can be used to try and make that happen.
But if Thomas decides to tell Ridge what he knows, then the timing will be vital. Telling Sheila what he plans to do before he does it could prevent it from happening. Thomas was held hostage before, as viewers recall.
Even if Thomas does not tell Sheila what he plans to do, he will still become her target because her scheme will be revealed. In that outcome, various other members of Thomas’ family and others he cares about could be caught in whatever retaliation Sheila exacts.
