Days of Our Lives viewers will see Johnny and Chanel return from Italy with a big surprise – they eloped! They hope they’ll get a positive reaction from family and friends, but Johnny’s parents don’t react well at all! EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel) will likely suspect some gold-digging on Chanel’s part, while both he and Sami DiMera (Alison Sweeney) might suspect Johnny’s going to be a new father as well. Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will be much more vocal with her displeasure, but then she might be deflecting her own issues onto her daughter, considering that her own wedding to Abe Carver (James Reynolds) recently fell apart.
She realizes now that Chanel was unduly influenced and advised by a demon-possessed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t still hurt.
