There are a lot of people in Salem who are furious with her.

Paulina tried giving Abe a sob story, which wasn’t very good. It seemed rather tame for a sob story and didn’t explain her decision to lie to her family and friends. Not to mention that she’s linked to the Horton legacy through her nephew-in-law. So, that makes her actions even more despicable.
After Abe refused to accept her sob story, Paulina looked at her phone and tried to find someone to call. However, everyone is done with her and for the first time, she is completely and utterly alone. She sat in the square and cried over losing her family. However, if she were truly sorry, she would make things right. As of right now, Paulina continues moving forward with her plans despite the consequences.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Lani tore up the blank college tuition check that was for the twins. She wants nothing to do with her aunt and refuses to accept her dirty money. During the week of July 12, Lani will inform Paulina of her decision. The Miami real estate mogul is cut out of Lani’s life. That most likely includes zero access to the twins.

Fans have seen how much Paulina adores the twins. So, we are wondering if Lani’s decision will actually force Paulina’s hand. Could not being part of the twins’ lives compel Paulina to change her plans and make things right? We can’t see her continuing to live in Salem under these circumstances. Plus, we don’t really see Paulina as a villain. She is a person who is selfish and greedy, but we really don’t see her continuing her plan if that means she loses everyone. We will have to keep watching the NBC soap to find out what happens next.
