Ever wonder what your pets do when you’re not home? In The Secret Life of Pets, the real day starts in one Manhattan apartment building when the folks on two legs leave for work and school. That’s when the pets of every stripe, fur and feather begin their own nine-to-five routine: hanging out with each other, trading humiliating stories about their owners, or auditioning adorable looks to get better snacks.
One lovable character children are sure to love is the apathetic tabby cat, named Chloe (Lake Bell). She sure loves to eat! Below, is a fun, but simple Chloe craft children can make after seeing the film in theatres this weekend.
Chloe Materials
gray acrylic paint
small plate
large googly eyes
glue stick
large black Sharpie marker
pink foam
paint sponges
scissors
Directions
1. Paint your small paper plate gray using the paint sponge and allow it to dry.
2. Give Chloe 2 large google eyes.
3. Cut 2 small triangles from the pink foam for Chloe‘s ears and attach to the paper plate with the glue stick.
4. Cut a 3rd small triangle from the pink foam for Chloe‘s nose and affix to the paper plate using the glue stick.
5. Use the black Sharpie to draw a mouth and 3 whiskers on each side of Chloe.
