Meghan Markle: Inside Her Sweet & Quiet Montecito Christmas

These days, it seems as if some royal commentators actively hunt for negative things to say about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. But, this Christmas seemed sweet enough to highlight that not everything is bad all the time. Read on for a bit of an uplifting story.
Family Time
Much like Princess Catherine, Meghan Markle enjoyed time making her family her priority. In fact, she told her followers in her As Ever newsletter that they spent the day “cuddled up” in jammies with their kids, Archie and Lilibet.

There wasn’t much fanfare, and possibly like many non-royals, they played board games like Scrabble while background music set the festive mood. They didn’t travel anywhere exotic and spent their holiday in Montecito, per Hello Magazine.
Other Positive News
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have quite a few plans for next year. For example, the Sussex couple still works with their charitable organization, and recently, it got a name change. These days, it’s known as Archewell Philanthropies.
Apparently, a bit of restructuring goes a long way to help kids across the world. Seemingly, this is the direction they want to go to leave a positive legacy.

Introducing their kids to those less fortunate is also similar to the way Prince George went to a food kitchen for the homeless with his dad, Prince William.
According to People Magazine, they took Archie and Lilibet to help out at “Our Big Kitchen in Los Angeles” to prepare meals for those in need.
Reconciliation Becomes More Likely?
It also becomes obvious that things might be on the road to healing the reported royal rift between King Charles, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle. Rumors have it, that he’s ready to reach out a hand of reconciliation. In fact, during his Christmas speech, the monarch spoke about the values of compassion and reconciliation.
Actually, insiders suggest the King doesn’t disapprove of Harry building a new life in the USA. Far-fetched? Well, it depends which tabloid or outlet you read. After all, it seems to be the norm to slam the couple for just about everything.
The As Ever Brand
Meanwhile, Meghan, who focuses on her lifestyle brand, As Ever, launched a holiday collection that included hand-poured candles and artisanal honey.
While lots of people complained because, allegedly, some of the candles were defective, Meghan quickly arranged replacements. Mistakes happen to everyone sometimes. Despite the constant criticism that goes their way, Harry and Meghan Markle seem determined to try and carry on with new long-term objectives.
