Prince George Primed For Royal Duties, But Has A Phone Ban?

Prince George, the son of Princess Catherine and Prince William, is stepping up and starting to learn about royal duties. In fact, some folks think that might worry Prince Harry, who wants back in. But, does the young prince, 12, have a cell phone? Read on to find out.
Royal Experts Discuss George
This Friday, on the Talking Royals segment of ITV, Charlene White, Royal Editor Chris Ship, Royal Expert Lizzie Robinson, and King’s Trust Ambassador Anna Williamson chatted about George.

Between all of them, a lot of royal expertise came to the table. They talked about how the “huge” moment on Remembrance Day when he appeared alongside his mom must have been a bit overwhelming. However, he did really well.
Raising Kids In Modern Society
While the monarchy might seem outdated and antiquated to many critics, Prince George and his sister Charlotte are very popular. But, their parents raise them in a modern society. So, the question arose about whether William will let his son have a phone.
A snippet showed William answering some questions about George. And, it’s a big “nope” from him for his son to have his own phone. At 12, perhaps he’s just considered too young. But obviously, one day he will get one. Actually, young kids take a bit of training when they first get phones.
Social Responsibility
Do you remember when The Little Couple alum, Will Klein, first went on TikTok? To his mom’s horror, the TLC star posted some rather inappropriate things. So, she had to sit him down and explain about fame and social media responsibility.
Getting back to phones, the snippet which was filmed in Brazil showed William saying, “It’s really hard…our children don’t have phones.” But then he talked about perhaps when he starts “secondary school,” then maybe he might have “a phone that has no internet access.”
It seems that there’s some clashing going on, between Prince George and his parents, sitting with an uneasy situation. In fact, William told the reporter, “to be honest, he’s getting to the point where it’s becoming a little bit of a tense issue.” Nevertheless, his dad hopes “he understands why.”
No Phones But Lots Duties
Other news that arrived is that the palace is already training George. Did you know that one day, he’ll be the Commander-In-Chief of the armed forces? The panel also talked about how Princess Catherine mentioned her son really loves building models. In particular, he likes the Lancaster bombers.
Of course, with that sort of interest, it seems that George can look forward to a satisfying career. When you think about it, hardly any other kids in the world can relate to that sort of lifestyle.
