General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson) is about to lay it on real thick for Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). In return, Gladys’ anxiety and guilt just might eat her alive in the days ahead. Sasha couldn’t be more grateful to Gladys for taking on board the task of being Sasha’s legal guardian. Had she not stepped up to the plate, Sasha may have been forced to be under the care of a complete stranger who would not have had personal insight into her life or her best emotional interests in mind. As it turns out, though, neither does Gladys. Is Sasha’s sudden admiration and show of gratitude as transparent as it seems, or is she intentionally messing with Gladys and hoping to get her to crack?

Sasha wasn’t happy when she found out Gladys sold Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) garage without having so much as a conversation about it with her first. That garage was a safe space for Sasha. It was the place she could go to feel an instant connection to her late husband. The smell of oil and gasoline, mixed with the echo of tools clattering together and engines revving was a reminder of the spirit that Brando evoked in Sasha’s life. She wasn’t ready to give it up, and Gladys made that decision for her while pretending it was for her own sanity. When Sasha praises Gladys for that decision and how right it feels that it’s behind both of them, Gladys is going to be consumed by guilt.
General Hospital Updates – Gladys Corbin Can’t Handle The Heat
Gladys couldn’t take much more of Sasha’s emotional assault when she found out about the sale of the garage to Selina Wu (Lydia Look). Instead of apologizing or finding a way to address Sasha’s concerns with reason, she diffused the situation with a lie. Sure, it might be hard for Gladys to handle Brando’s affairs, but that is her role as his mother and as Sasha’s legal guardian right now. It’s one she agreed to, and she hasn’t spoken up about any of the weight this job supposedly has placed on her shoulders until it was convenient for her and she needed a way to slither out of being accountable for what she had done. Seeing that Sasha is happy with Gladys’ shifty choice might strike Gladys as knowing she should feel relieved, but she won’t.
Cody Bell Knows The Truth
Sasha just might break soon. No, she’s not going to have another breakdown, but she will feel the pressure mounting between herself and Gladys, and she can’t tell her mother-in-law how she really feels about her going behind her back and selling the garage. So, she’ll open up to the one person she knows already knows about it — Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). Cody caught Sasha off guard when he brought up the sale of the garage like it was common knowledge. Well, Sasha certainly didn’t know about it. When she circles back around to Cody, she’s going to have a long list of questions about how he knew, who he heard it from, and what he knows about her mother-in-law.
