General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Carly Corinthos Has A Huge Year Ahead Of Her
General Hospital (GH) spoilers say that regardless of whether or not you can’t get enough of her or think that you might be seeing too much of her, there’s no denying that Port Charles simply wouldn’t be the same without Carly Corinthos, especially since she is often in the front and center of all the action. While there’s no doubt that Carly has had quite the year in 2022, it looks like she’ll be seeing some significant changes in 2023, too. Here’s a little rundown of what Carly has had to deal with in the last few months.
General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Corinthos Has A Huge Year Ahead Of Her
Carly Corinthos sure has had an interesting several months in this fictional town of Port Charles. That’s because her husband Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has left her for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). If that weren’t enough, her best friend Jason Morgan is presumed to be missing, or even death, while his half-brother Drew seemed to want more than just a friendship from her.
Back in October and in an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Laura Wright, who has been playing Carly for years, says that this is going to be a time for growth for her character. She tells the publication, “When she goes home, you’ll see a new side to her. We’ll see for how long! She still is who she is. She’s still a scrapper, she still won’t take stuff from anyone, and she is still a mama bear, protective of her family.”
“But this is something that was like divine intervention,” she continued. “She had no intention whatsoever of ending up in Jacksonville, but she did. This all fell into her lap, and there are no accidents.”
General Hospital Updates – What’s Next For Carly Corinthos?
A lot of General Hospital fans have pointed out that while the beautiful blonde sure does have a reason to defend her marriage, defend her daughter and of course, defend herself from all of her haters, some believe that all of this Carly drama might be a little too much. That, and they think it’s time to give Laura Wright a break – or at least a much-needed vacation! Either way, we have a feeling that Carly will be getting anything but time off in 2023. Watch this space.
That said, fans will have to tune in to General Hospital each and every day to find out what’s in store for the future. […] Carly might be sorry Drew had to find out the truth, but she won’t be sorry she hid it in the first place. She could attest that she was thinking of him and didn’t want to burden Drew with that kind of secret, but they both know better. She only came to him in the first place to unburden herself, but once it looked like she would have to tell the truth, she cut him out of the equation. There might not be any going back from this.
