The Young And The Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Sally’s Disappointment, Nick No Better Than Adam
The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease that once it’s all said and done, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) might regret choosing Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). She may find certain objectionable things that are simply genetic Newman family traits and find he’s no better than Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Burned Bad
Opting to turn her “situationship” into a real romantic relationship with Nick will certainly be attractive to Sally, having been burned so badly by Adam. It will be much easier now for Nick and Sally to have a romance and not have to hide it now that they’re not working at the same company. Adam may have had good intentions when he dumped Sally in an effort to keep her job for her, but his good intentions blew up in his face.
All Adam did was make Sally feel gaslighted and rejected when he continued to deny he still loved and wanted her when she could tell that he did. He literally personified the old saying of cutting off one’s nose to spite their face, because now he couldn’t get her back if his life depended on it, breaking trust.
Y & R Spoilers: “Saint” Nick Newman Seems A Safer Option
Sally really doesn’t know Nick’s romantic history other than he was married to both Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). She might know since it seems to be common knowledge, that Phyllis dumped him for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and that was the last relationship he was in. What she probably doesn’t know is that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) was conceived when Nick was cheating on Sharon with Phyllis, although Jack delivered her in an elevator. Nick hasn’t always been the knight in shining armor that Sally might think he is, and she may not realize Nick and Adam always fall for the same women either. Nick and Sally could fall apart just like Nick and Phyllis did when Phyllis realized they were no longer in sync, although Phyllis’ lust for Jack played a big part.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Other Divisive Issues
Other divisive issues could crop up, one of which already has – Summer already made her displeasure known, warning Sally to stay away from her dad. And Nick was spoken to by his mother, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) when she saw Nick and Sally together-how could he do that to his own daughter? As far as Nikki and Summer are concerned, Nick may as well be dating Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) as Sally Spectra!
Then, if Nick finds out Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is in a bad way, he might gravitate back to her to try and help save her. Sally might find out that Nick is not a whole lot better than Adam when it comes to waffling between women.

[…] Sally’s had so much happen to her lately, more bad than good with her sudden firing, along with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) from Newman Media. Unfortunately, Nick could not convince Victoria, and Sally was still trying to move her things out of the office when Victoria brought Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) in. […]
