General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease that Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will have a bombshell to drop on Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). As if it wasn’t enough of a bombshell to discover her alive and breaking into his safe, she’s got another—perhaps she’s pregnant from their forbidden encounter?
General Hospital Spoilers – She’s Tried That Before
Nikolas probably won’t believe her at first, because she’s tried that before – several months back she thought she was pregnant by Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) or so she claimed. Nikolas himself made her get a pregnancy test at General Hospital and it came out negative. Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) had plans to send her away and probably keep the baby but get rid of her.
Even if she shows a baby bump under her clothes Nikolas probably will demand she lift up her shirt – or cloak, as the case may be. It’s pretty hard to fake a real baby bump when there aren’t any clothes to cover it.
General Hospital Updates – What Now?
The next thing Nikolas will demand if he has any sense is a paternity test – Esmé could have been with anyone since she disappeared off that parapet into the water. Nikolas looked for her himself and swam along the edge of the harbor but didn’t find her, he did find one of her shoes. He tells her after she rants there was no search and that he did look for her himself and arrived right after she fell, household staff had heard the ruckus. Nikolas was called, went right over to see Ava Cassadine (Maura West) in shock looking into the harbor below, and he knew what happened. But he also knew there was a chance she had survived, as several had fallen or been pushed off the parapet over the years.
Blackmail As Was The Original Plan
Esmé honestly had not planned to be spotted alive by Nikolas as she was trying to rob his safe – she was going to steal the money and hide elsewhere. She’d thought about living in one of the secret rooms and coming in and out to get food and other things, but hadn’t done her homework about one thing. She didn’t realize that Wyndemere Castle and Spoon Island had been in the Cassadine family since Nikolas first came to Port Charles as a teenager.
He knows all about the secret rooms and passages within Wyndemere, as well as some that were boarded over when Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) lived there. Now she goes back to her original plan, blackmailing Nikolas with her pregnancy, and even better when the paternity test shows he’s the father.
