When Jackee Harry first joined DOOL in early 2021, Robert Scott Wilson was still playing reformed serial killer Ben Weston and their characters never crossed, but all that has changed now that Wilson is playing Alex Kiriakis. As soon as he arrived in town, Alex took a liking to Paulina’s daughter, Chanel (Raven Bowens), which gives them a chance to share some scenes together every once in a while.
And sharing scenes together is what Harry and Wilson have wanted for well over a year, as they share something in common in real life.
“We have the same manager,” Wilson said in the October 17, 2022, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “After Jackee started on DAYS, he told me he was working on a deal for her, that she was having a great time and she really wanted to stay…Jackee and I kind of talked about that and became buddies but we never worked together until Alex came into play.”

In the current story, Chanel and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) are ready to have a threesome with Alex, which will put him right in Paulina’s orbit, as Paulina is Chanel’s mother. They have some more scenes coming up in the next few months and Wilson had a blast filming them.
“We have a couple of scenes recently that was wicked fun and we’re going to be doing more in the future,” Wilson said. “I like having the chance to show that I can do that kind of work, but I love both.”
So far, Alex has been a bit of comic relief in Salem, as Ben was always the brooding type who rarely ever showed a sense of humor — perhaps it was his serial killer roots.
