News recently broke that long-time cast stalwart, Michael Graziadei (Daniel Romalotti), is returning to the cast. That will influence Phyllis’ trajectory in the near future.
Long-time fans recall that Daniel is Phyllis’ other child. The man Daniel thinks of as his father is the same person he was named in honor of, Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian).
Daniel is also the father of Phyllis’ only grandchild, Lucy Romalotti (as last played by baby actors, Abigail, and Olivia Moore). Daniel’s daughter has not been seen in nearly a decade. Graziadei was last on the show in 2016.

Tucker McCall (last played by Stephen Nichols, and believed to be played by a new cast member, Trevor St. John) will have a big impact if he is connected to Diane, as is teased.
The character St. John is expected to play is Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) biological father. Tucker is the late Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) biological son.
Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) recently told Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that he saw Diane with a rich guy in the past when spotting her in Los Angeles, California. That implies it was Tucker, with a confirmation yet to happen.
