The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Victor’s Master Plan Unravels as Kyle Launches an All-Out Attack

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is administering punishment methodically.

To do so, he used Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and is using her apparent next romantic connection, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).

Phyllis used her exceptional talent to do what no other person ever did.

While her victory wasn’t enduring, she snatched Newman Enterprises, rebranded it after her daughter’s name, which played off her own last name, but wasn’t able to maintain the win.

Remarkably, and in a sequence of events that was pure soap, the man who framed Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) for his faked murder and then was nearly responsible for his overdose saved his life.

But Matt went a step further and had Phyllis assist him with life-saving resuscitation.

Will Matt Clark Turn Against His Overlord?

Assume that Matt remains committed to his redemptive path. That begs a reasonable question. Might he conclude or be convinced that betraying Victor would allow that to happen, rather than do his overlord’s bidding indefinitely?

It’s hard to imagine that Matt will ever be free from Victor’s clutches. At some point, the restored head of Newman Enterprises will decide that Matt failed the endless loyalty test.

Matt’s recent chat with Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) at The Reimagined Shadow Room, where he acknowledged that the Newmans might break their agreement with him no matter what happens, felt predictive.

However, Matt also admitted that he would face hard consequences if he stopped playing ball according to Victor’s set rules.

Victor Newman Is Fully Transactional

Victor told Matt that he was either the greatest liar ever or sincerely wanted to be a better man.

Viewers knew that Victor didn’t care which was true as long as he could exact his pound of flesh from Matt and have him deliver on their agreement.

Getting Newman Enterprises back isn’t the end. Instead, it was a step that was followed by Victor openly telling family members that he would get back all that was taken from him, no matter the cost to others.

There is one unexpected element that has caused Victor to be distracted. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is currently blind, with no guaranteed timeline for her sight being restored.

So, it’s now possible that Matt can benefit by dropping his claim of wanting to leave Genoa City, Wisconsin, and living up to the deal he made with Victor.

Doing so would keep that part of the Moustache’s life flowing smoothly toward his endgame, which is to teach Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) a hard lesson and to deal a blow to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

Kyle Abbott Is Highly Motivated

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) benefits from Victor underestimating him. That calculation exists because of Kyle’s last name and Victor being assured that Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) son isn’t capable of exacting vengeance.

Mealor’s character is taking a major gamble in seeking Patty Williams’ (Stacy Haiduk) help. She’s locked up for two attempted murders, with more charges likely.

So believing she’ll provide evidence that can implicate Victor in her crimes is questionable.

On the personal side, Kyle and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) have been commiserating about their parent’s plights.

It feels like Kyle could exploit that plot proximity by pursuing a romantic relationship with her to set Victor off, which would be a play off her past romantic connection to Billy.
