OutDaughtered Starlet Meets Her Real-Life Spirit Animal – Super-Cute Moment

Hazel Busby

OutDaughtered fans adore Hazel Busby, the cute red-headed quint from TLC. Last year, her mom, Danielle revealed that she had found the perfect spirit animal for her daughter. Well, this week, she met one for real and when her dad shared about it, some super-cute moments were revealed.

OutDaughtered – Quint Hazel Busby’s Spirit Animal

Folks who follow the family on Instagram heard that Danielle decided her daughter is just like a sloth. Of course, Sid the Ice Age sloth comes to mind. Back in September last year, she explained to her followers that Hazel is a person who takes her time, slows down, and lives in the moment. Actually, her TLC fans thought that a sloth totally suited the cute lid with a lisp. Ever since then, she was caught trying to smuggle her stuffed toy into her school bag.

Earlier this year, OutDaughtered fans saw that the idea of a sloth as a spirit animal persists. In April, Adam Busby shared a photo of Hazel wearing a sloth outfit during Balyke’s birthday party. Cuddly and cute, who could resist sending in nice comments? Well, it seemed like nobody who saw the post left without commenting. Many folks commented about how adorable the sister of Riley, Ava, Olivia, and Parker seems to be.

OutDaughtered Starlet Meets A Real Sloth

On August 27, Adam Bubsy took to his Instagram and shared a video of Hazel. In it, she fed a sloth some snacks. In his caption, he said, “Hazel finally got to meet her spirit animal at Houston interactive aquarium and animal preserve and my heart melted! This was a big Bucket list experience for her.” Then he thanked the Houston Zoo and Aquarium for the “amazing experience.” TLC fans agreed that Haxel looked entranced and thrilled all at the same time.

OutDaughtered fans took to the comments and here’s a small sample of what they said:

Oh my heart she is sooo caring❤️❤️❤️.

She is so precious! I love Hazel’s sweet spirit!

That’s awesome! Sloths are the coolest 😃.

Oh my word!!! I would cry if I had this opportunity! I’m so glad Hazel got to do this 😍.”

All About Sloths

It’s no wonder that the OutDaughtered kid loves sloths. Firstly, The Ice Age brought the rather indolent animals to the attention of millions of people. The Sloth Conservation Foundation explains that the animals “live in the rainforest canopy and are known for their slow and deliberate movements.” The slowest animals on the planet intrigue scientists. The article also states, “They have many adaptations that make them unique among mammals.” Additionally, they have “a very efficient metabolism that is excellent at conserving energy.” Furthermore, Hazel Busby’s spirit animals “are masters of disguise that can fool all the senses of their predators.”
