General Hospital

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of April 18, 2022 tease that the revolving door is doing a massive spin in Port Charles, New York. Who is coming and who is going this week? Let’s unpack all the soapy action to be attuned to GH fans!

General Hospital Spoilers – The week Of April 18, 2022, Brings A Departure

Amelie McLain was recently cast as Charlotte Cassadine, the daughter of Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). The actress was seen a handful of times and she has now left the canvas. The character is now in boarding school and this is sure to start a raft of rumors about her being given the SORAS treatment.

Charlotte is a precocious kid although her sneaky side seems to be in remission. Nonetheless, the character has been sent off to boarding school which is one time tested way for soaps to age characters and then bring them back to the canvas. Will this happen to Charlotte? There is no indication that the show is planning to age Valentin’s daughter, but you never know with soaps. If Charlotte were aged just a bit she would make a fun addition to the PC teen scene.

General Hospital Updates – April 18, 2022, Brings a Fun Casting

Cameron Mathison recently inhabited the role of Drew Cain and now his real-life wife is about to make a star turn on the ABC sudser. Look for Vanessa Mathison to star as Mia. Mia is an executive coach and the best part is that she will share scenes with Drew!

This ought to be fun and fans can look forward to her appearance on Wednesday, April 20.

April 18, 2022 Brings Back A Fan Fave

James Patrick Stuart was off doing a side project and fans did not see him for a while. When we did, it was as Pepe Le Pew. Ok, the fake character had an actual name but we like this one better. Valentin faked being a naval officer to fool Jennifer Smith (Holly Gagnier) and it worked, including the squirrel mustache and phony French accent.

By the way, fans can now look forward to seeing Stuart in the Disney+ series Villains of Valley View.
