Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and updates tease that Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will team up with Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) and do a deep dive, checking TR Coates’ (William Christian) criminal record to see if he’s really changed, in an upcoming episode of Days of Our Lives!
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Eli Grant Gets TR Coates’ Past History From Paulina Price
As Lani Grant’s (Sal Stowers) husband, Eli has a stake in her safety, their twins, and Paulina’s and as a police officer, he has a stake in the safety of the citizens of Salem! Days of Our Lives viewers know that with no current crimes that are known, Eli can’t just haul Coates in, but there are certain things that as a detective he can do. Even if Paulina, Lani, and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) all took out restraining orders the worst Coates would get would be a slap on the wrist and no jail time if he violated them. Besides, there have to be reasonable grounds with recent offenses to even get a valid restraining order and he’s not made threats or stalked anyone, at least not yet, although Paulina certainly takes his contact that way! Days of Our Lives viewers can expect Eli to first get as much as he can about Coates’ past history – where he lived, timeframes, etc. from Paulina, which she would be able to supply.
Days Of Our Lives Updates – Eli Grant Checks For Any Outstanding Warrants
Days of Our Lives viewers know that the first step that Eli will take is to check for any outstanding warrants; Eli cannot yet collect fingerprints and run them through CODIS, at least not legally. There has to be just caused for collecting such evidence because if there is not and a criminal case comes of it, it could be thrown out of court. Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) has recently been in trouble when offenders from past cases he investigated complained that he planted evidence; it could go the same way for Eli if he were to run Coates’ prints. Technically, he could lift some prints off something Coates handled recently and run them, but if he does find anything, he cannot use it for evidence for a case! If he finds outstanding warrants with Coates’ name and any recent addresses he can find on him he’ll have to work the warrants and bring him in.
Eli Grant Will Find Cause To Confront TR Coates
Days of Our Lives viewers can expect that Eli might find something on Coates because he will have cause to confront him in upcoming episodes of Days of Our Lives! It may simply be that Coates is coming around Paulina, Lani, or even Chanel too much and there are complaints from them – that could be interpreted as stalking since they have all told them to stay away! But then there is also the chance, with Coates’ more recent activity as a film promoter and investor, that perhaps Eli’s found some “films” early in Coates’ career that could be considered questionable!
Perhaps early on he was involved in pornography and Eli’s found some old charges of using underage actors or actresses in them – back years ago, such things were hushed up and swept under the rug, but now they would be child pornography felonies! That kind of history would be more than enough for Eli to use against Coates and run him out of town on a rail, no matter how much he claims he’s changed!
