General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Austin Finds An Ally, Olivia Sides With Him
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Dr. Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) hasn’t found a lot of allies in the Quartermaine family as he fights for his share of the family fortune. Austin is the son of the late Jimmy Lee Holt (Steve Bond) who himself was Edward Quartermaine’s (the late John Ingle) illegitimate son. It seems as though Jimmy Lee was trying to make peace with Edward during Edward’s final days, but Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) intercepted letters from Jimmy Lee to her father. This fact gives Austin legal standing to contest Edward’s will, but he needs to find those letters to prove that Edward wanted to reconcile with Jimmy Lee!
General Hospital Spoilers – Harrison Chase Won’t Be Manipulated By Dr. Austin Holt For Long!
Right now, Austin has been trying to get Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) on his side. Chase has recently discovered that his wife Willow Tait (Katelyn McMullen) is being unfaithful with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Chase was paralyzed but he’s starting to recover, a fact that only Austin knows for now. Austin is hoping Chase can help him find the missing letters if he pretends he still can’t walk. But deep down, Chase is a good person and won’t go along with anything that seems underhanded for long. So Austin will need to find a new ally.
General Hospital Updates – Olivia Falconeri May Just Be The Ally That Austin Holt Needs
Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) hasn’t quite taken Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) back after his one-night stand with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) but she is well on her way to reconciling with Ned. But Austin’s story may get to Olivia, who will want the Quartermaine’s to do the right thing, whether they want to or not. To that end, she may be willing to help Austin locate the letters. She knows that Tracy intercepted them but not where they are. But living in the Quartermaine mansion will let Olivia look in places that Austin won’t have access to.
General Hospital Spoilers – How Will Ned Quartermaine Feel If Olivia Falconeri Helps Dr. Austin Holt?
Ned and Olivia aren’t on solid ground right now. But that’s mostly Ned’s fault. He may decide to forgive Olivia. He may even eventually agree that Austin deserves his rightful share of the Quartermaine money. This may actually help the couple finally get back together by helping Austin, even if the rest of the family isn’t happy about it.
What Do You Think?

[…] General Hospital viewers will recall that Ned had noticed that Austin was a special type of pediatrician, and it looks like he may specialize in the autism spectrum. More than likely, if Leo is in the autism spectrum he is in the high-functioning Asperger’s Disease range. That means he is very intelligent, but he may daydream a lot and become lost in his daydreams to the point of inattention or lack of notice to other stimuli – such as cutting his finger and feeling pain. What distinguishes Asperger’s Disorder from classic autism are its less severe symptoms and the absence of language delays. Children with Asperger’s Disorder may be only mildly affected, and they frequently have good language and cognitive skills. To the untrained observer, a child with Asperger’s Disorder may just seem like a neurotypical child behaving differently. He may be socially awkward, not understand conventional social rules or show a lack of empathy. He may have limited eye contact, seem unengaged in a conversation and not understand the use of gestures or sarcasm. When Austin gave him the fidget spinner, he was noting how much attention Leo was paying to it and his focus. General Hospital viewers can tell that Austin wanted to obtain a further diagnosis and treatment for Leo. […]

[…] General Hospital’s Olivia will get some much-needed reassurance from Leo’s specialist. The doctor will advise Olivia that her emotions deserve validation and that she needs to take the time to feel them. The doctor will also explain that the autism diagnosis does not mean that Leo cannot have a full and happy life. The doctor will try to reassure Olivia that Leo will still meet the goals set for him, he just may do it differently than expected before his autism was discovered. Leo has time to grow and learn and advances in the treatment of autism are made every day. […]
