DOOL spoilers reveal that Chanel accepts that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) chose Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams). It was difficult for her in the beginning but Chanel seems to be trying to move on. As we saw on Wednesday’s episode, that is easier said than done. When Chanel ran into Allie and Tripp, flashbacks of their romantic night flooded her mind. Now that she has met Johnny, she might dive into the relationship as a way to try and forget her feelings for Allie.

Meanwhile, Johnny is completely floored by Chanel. The young man thinks that she is beautiful and remarkable. Even though Johnny doesn’t know Chanel very well, he will jump into a relationship with the future bakery owner. The two actually get passionate pretty quickly but Allie isn’t completely out of Chanel’s mind yet. Chanel might not admit it, but she still has feelings for Allie. Unknown to Chanel and Tripp, Allie also has lingering feelings for her friend and business partner.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Johnny and Chanel will go out on a date. However, it ends up being crashed by Chanel’s mother, Paulina. It is speculated that Paulina might have an issue with Chanel’s new relationship when she finds out who she is dating. Paulina is still new in town but she knows all about the DiMeras. The fact that Johnny is EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) son will not make Paulina happy. While Paulina means well, she always goes overboard and this might be another example of that.

Paulina might have a genuine reason to worry about the DiMera family. She probably has heard all about their history from Abe Carver (James Reynolds), Eli Grant (Lamon Archey), and Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers).
Even though Johnny isn’t necessarily like his father, that might not matter to Paulina. She could take drastic action to keep the couple apart but could it end up backfiring? Could she create a rift in the relationship with her daughter all over again? How does Allie fit into the equation as we know she won’t be happy about Johnny or Chanel either. We will have to keep watching the NBC soap to find out how this story ends.
