Smoothies are a great addition your pregnancy diet!
Did you know smoothies can actually reduce morning sickness! Liquid-based foods are easier to keep down and will keep you hydrated unlike tasteless crackers! Smoothies like this pregnancy Raspberry smoothie also contains essential vitamins that are perfect for future moms.
½ C. fresh raspberries
¼ C. ground rolled oats
½ C. skim milk (you could also substitute almond or coconut milk if you wish)
1 container (approximately 5.3 oz.) raspberry greek yogurt, any brand (you could also use plain greek yogurt – I had raspberry on hand)
2 tbs. pasteurized honey (optional)
Combine all the ingredients into a blender or food processor and puree until it’s mixed well – about 30 seconds.
*Makes (2) 8 oz. servings or (1) 16 oz. serving
