Romeo Beckham’s Burberry Ad Campaign Helped Burberry’s 13% Increase In Sales
Victoria and David Beckham‘s son 10-year-old Romeo Beckham made his modelling debut for the Burberry Spring/Summer 2013 campaign. Burberry is now saying that they had an amazing response to their spring/summer collection and their sales are up a whopping 13%.
Romeo Beckham’s ad campaign and others generated, “record reach and engagement”. Not only did Romeo model for the collection but his picture was displayed on a billboard on the side of a building in Paris, France.
Burberry said, “In what remained an uneven trading environment, there was an exceptional consumer response to spring/summer 2013. Advertising campaign and catwalk shows generated “record reach and engagement”.
The number of shoppers visiting its stores and shopping – was “soft”, Burberry said this was pumped up by the strong growth online.
Move over Victoria it looks like Romeo may be the next Beckham to take the modeling world by a storm. After the success of his Burberry campaign I am sure we can expect to see Romeo in other campaigns.
