John Travolta who is certified pilot has donated a jet plane to the Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame in honour of his late son Jett, who died in 2009 after hitting his head during a seizure while in the Bahamas.
Chrissy Miner, spokeswoman for Robins Air Force Base, told the Telegraph newspaper in Macon that the plane is being prepared for a static display for an upcoming air show scheduled for April 28 and 29 and will then be towed to the museum.
Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston have two other children – Ella Bleu and 14-month-old Benjamin.
