  • Visiting the Pak Khlong Talat flower market in Bangkok is a must while in the city. It gets overlooked sometimes by travelers because of the floating market nearby. We did both and enjoyed each, but the flower market was much more authentic. You meet craftmen/women making beautiful arrangements of flowers to be sold to locals. I was also taken aback by the kindness of the people that took the time show the girls their flowers. We left with jasmine and tiny rose bracelets. 🌸🌹 .   • Guess what we did? We spent the day learning how to take care for Elephants with the Karen Tribe Native Elephants. Being welcomed into this remote community was an experience of a lifetime. Of all my travels around the world this was by far the most genuine experience I have done. . The Elephants are not simply animals to these people, but members of the community. The elephants live within the community in the jungle and are never bombarded with loads of tourists. Our family spent the day with two elephants and the only other people from outside were another small family who took care of two other elephants. . I can't wait to share the beautiful story of the Karen Tribe Native Elephants community and their elephants in the upcoming weeks.
