Hilary Duff

Hilary Duff, 33, who announced her pregnancy via Instagram on October 24, 2020, hasn’t forgotten to keep fans updated throughout the coming months, with the help of hilarious posts of course. This is Duff’s third pregnancy, and the second child she’s having with husband Matthew Koma, and this baby will be expanding the current family of four.

The Big Announcement

The “Lizzie Mcquire” alum shared the news of her pregnancy with a short video on Instagram that showed her baby bump, with husband Matthew Koma rubbing it. She captioned it, “We’re growing! Mostly me…” This, obviously, led to an outpour of congratulatory messages from fans and famous celebrity friends alike, as Hilary Duff joined the slew of pregnant celebrities in 2020.

Fellow pregnant Disney Channel star Ashley Tisdale commented on the post with happy and excited emojis, while Mandy Moore wrote, “Yay!! The best news!! Love you two and can’t wait to be mamas together! Xo.”

Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma

Koma shared the same video to his own account, writing, “lol quarantine was fun. Baby #3 – 2021.” While Koma made us aware that the baby was coming in 2021, yay, he wasn’t specific on the date or month they’re expecting the baby to arrive.

Growing Family Of Four

Hilary Duff first became a mother when she had a son, Luca, with her then-husband Mike Comrie. After the split, she and the former professional ice hockey player, 40, have been co-parenting their son. Hilary’s sister Haylie commented in a US Weekly interview that Mike was still close to their family, which makes it easy for everybody to co-parent.

In 2018, Hilary went on to date Koma and in June 2018, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child together. Their daughter, Banks, arrived four months later.

The “My Kind” singer got engaged in May 2019 and tied the knot after 7 months in the backyard of their LA home.

Snack Cravings

Like all pregnant mothers-to-be, Hilary Duff gets cravings, and she has shared it all with everybody. From stress-snacking pics with quirky captions to posing with jars of Nutella. Yeah, she really loves her Nutella.

Can’t Be Alone Anymore

During her November 2020 quarantine, Duff wrote on Instagram, “This little mystery Bebe thumper helping me not to feel so alone in the basement.” She said as she quarantined alone after she was exposed to the coronavirus.

Last Birthday Party

Duff posted a pic of her throwback party in November 2020 from her birthday a few months prior, writing, “Hubby made my quarantine birthday so sweet and special this year. Missing my friends and family I got to be with. Just reminiscing feeling happy and light. Baby and I [got] all dressed up for a celebration.” The original birthday post was jokingly captioned, “One thing on Luca’s mind… and it ain’t singing me happy birthday.”

Boy Or Girl?

In another Instagram post, Duff took a mirror pic of herself showing off her baby bump, saying that she couldn’t feel if the baby would be a boy or girl. She also tagged the picture, what are we thinking? Boy or Girl.

Appreciating Change

In a post, Duff admitted that she really missed her pre-baby body in a series of throwback pics, but said that she still appreciated her growing bump.

“But this one is working hard and doing pretty cool things for our little family, and I’m super grateful and excited about that,” she wrote via her Instagram story.

Going To Work

The actress showed up for work in an all-black-ensemble that covered her bump with bright red shoes while on the Younger set in January 2021.

Counting Off To Four Weeks

From the beginning of January, she has shared her pregnancy progression journey with her fans, from fashion-forward maternity stretch pants, enjoying a big breakfast, to funny workout pics asking fans if it was just okay to watch workouts rather than do them, to “See you in a month, feet,” Hilary Duff captioned a February 2021 Instagram Story pic of her baby bump in a striped dress.
