Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) Characters To Bring Back: Carrie Brady
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and updates tease that some of your favorite characters venturing beyond Salem in the next month and the last time they did that, they paid a visit to Carrie Brady and her husband, Austin Reed, in Paris. But why can’t Carrie just return to Salem?
Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Needs Sami’s Sister
One of the soap’s most memorable rivalries ever was the one between Carrie Brady (Christie Clark) and her younger half-sister Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney). They both fought over Austin Reed (Austin Peck and Patrick Muldoon) for years and never really got along since they were teenagers. Carrie is the one who eventually married Austin and had his son, Aiden, but there’s been lots of trouble in paradise since then.
Heck, there was even one incident where Carrie slept with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) of all people a few years back when she and Austin were on the outs. That seemed odd enough and out of nowhere at the time and it never went anywhere, making many fans wonder why something like that was even allowed to happen. But happen it did and now the audience has to remember that icky incident as the last time Carrie was in Salem, so bring her back for some better memories.
Days Of Our Lives Updates – There’s A Hole In Salem Now
With leading lady Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) gone, there is a spot where a leading fairly young heroine needs to be and why can’t that spot be filled by Carrie. She can even bring a teenage son with her (SORAS magic, right?), who can add to the Salem younger set. In fact, all of that younger set is made up of young adults. We need a few teens in town to cause some trouble. Why not Aiden Reed and Sydney DiMera, the children of Carrie and her sister Sami.
There are so many story possibilities for Carrie. As longtime fans recall, Lucas Horton (Bryan R. Dattilo) once wanted to win Carrie from his brother, Austin, and he and Sami teamed up to break up Carrie and Austin.
They are adults now and Lucas is a washed-up drunk who might need a little TLC from the girl he once had such a mad crush on. When Sami learns he is the one who had her kidnapped, he is definitely going to need someone to pick up the pieces of his life, so why not Carrie? Roman Brady would also be thrilled to have his oldest daughter back. Stay tuned to Days of Our Lives weekdays to see if Carrie ever returns.
