The Prince and Princess of Wales revealed their 2025 Christmas card photo on Thursday, and it showed Prince William, Princess Catherine, and all the kids. Taken in April, it seemed to highlight Kate Middleton’s focus on family this Christmas season. Read on to find out more.

The seasonal card arrived on the @princeandprincessofwales Instagram account on December 18. In it, the family sat together outside in a grassy field. Actually it looked like it was taken at their new home, Forest Lodge. The kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and little Prince Louis sat amongst wildflowers and daffodils.
The sweet image credited to Josh Shinner came as the royal family prepares to celebrate their Christmas and annual holiday gathering. Actually, you might have heard rumors that Prince William and Princess Catherine wouldn’t meet with his dad, King Charles on Christmas day. However, that was debunked, and they will spend time with him.
Christmas Day Plans
They will be at Sandringham with Charles and Queen Camilla and quite a lot of the royal family members will attend. However, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle along with their kids Archie and Lilibet won’t be there. Rumors are that Prince Andrew, now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor won’t attend. That’s because he and his ex, Sarah Ferguson seem to be on the wrong side of publicity with the Epstein scandal.
Usually, the family takes a walk to the Christmas service, and probably that will happen again this year. No doubt, the media will keep their eyes peeled for an opportunity to capture little Prince Louis up to mischief. But, these days, Prince George and his sister Charlotte seem to be quite good about public appearances.

When E! News shared about the Christmas card put out by Prince William and Princess Catherine, they noted that the caption had said, “Wishing everyone a very Happy Christmas.” They also mentioned the recent Annual Carol Concert that Kate Middleton arranges each year.
In the comments section, one royal family fan wrote, “Now that a REAL royal family with REAL, BEAUTIFUL children . Merry Christmas to them.”
There were more responses but unfortunately, a lot of them trolled the family. Sadly, it seems that the monarchy might be losing a bit of love at the moment. Especially because questions are being asked about the costs of housing the working royals.
However, others objected because the outlet called Princess Catherine “Kate Middleton.” One person wrote, “Catherine the Princess of Wales. Not Kate Middleton.” and another one said the outlet “disrespected” her position. But notably, others defended them. After all, many people in the UK affectionately refer to the Princess of Wales as Kate because they feel a lot of love for her and her family.
