Spitting Image Puppet Show Rattled Meghan Markle?
The return of the satirical puppet show, Spitting Image has been a source of fun, but a royal commentator noted that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry might not be laughing. Read on to find out why.
Giggling About The Satirical Show
In his vlog, Daily News Headlines on YouTube on Wednesday, royal commentator Neil Sean claimed that the puppet show was, “very troubling for Meghan Markle.” Nevertheless, he giggled as he reflected on her monotonous past. And, he pointed a finger at her history coming back to haunt her.
He talked about the show’s past, which indicated that, on the whole, being satirized was once deemed a “mark of honor” for famous people in the limelight.
Sean said that “the folks behind the new Spitting Image also thought that if Megan could do a voiceover for her own character, why not?” Well, he opined that “it just might have been a classy move.” After all, it would have been an opportunity to prove that Meghan Markle can laugh at “one’s own expense.”
No Originality
Clearly, though, that never happened, as she didn’t approve of being made to look like a puppet. The royal expert suggested “If I’m not mistaken, that’s not Megan’s way, right?”
After that, Sean talked about a wider context involving the Duchess. In fact, he believes that she lacks any originality in her behavior. For example, he reminded his followers of the time when Meghan wrote inspiring things on the bananas for a community group.
According to a source close to Trevor Engelson, Meghan’s ex-husband, the idea was old, and Sean said:
As far as I understand, Megan was very frequent in writing on bananas during her disappearing acts, thus, if she was going for a shoot or filming…’leaving them for Engelson as a sentimental gesture.”‘
The Past Catches Up
In explaining the example, Sean said, “This is just one if not the perfect instance of how ‘your past can catch up with you.” He went on, alleging that even the now-famous black and white photo-booth pictures of Harry and Meghan were not original. Apparently, they were a copy of the ones she first took with her ex.
To Sean, these reused concepts demonstrated that Meghan Markle has “absolutely no remnants of originality.” As the walls that guard her past crumble, he foresees increasing numbers of stories from her background “coming after her.”
According to Sean, one of the Duchess’s biggest misfortunes is that Engelson, who until now kept silent and respectful, is gradually becoming more revealing. “Step by step,” Sean explained, little anecdotes are only the “tip of the iceberg” on Meghan and Prince Harry.
