General Hospital Spoilers: Who Should Be the New Owner of the Quartermaine Mansion?
General Hospital spoilers reveal the sad news that the show has lost one of its brightest lights. We’ve learned that Leslie Charleson passed away last weekend, after decades of portraying fan favorite Monica Quartermaine.
In an ironic twist, on the Monday 13 episode, Monica was the topic of conversation between Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Stella Henry (Vernee Watson). The much-debated topic of “Monica’s House” came up and it was especially poignant given the passing of GH’s leading lady.
In fact, Tracy told Stella that after a fall and several personal tragedies Monica rarely left her room. Stella said that if the sad day comes and Monica is no longer at the head of the family, Tracy would be the new matriarch.
GH Spoilers: Tracy as Matriarch
Over the years, the issue of Monica’s owning the Q mansion has been a running joke, as long as the family’s infamous Thanksgiving pizza tradition.
The line “It’s Monica’s house, Alan gave it to her” has been uttered multiple times, always with consternation. But that hasn’t stopped a ton of Q’s from grousing about it, especially Tracy.
Who will inherit the Q mansion? We think we know the answer.
General Hospital Spoilers: Leslie Charleson Passes Away
Who better than Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to inherit the manor to which he was born? He was raised by Monica and Alan before his tragic accident and subsequent estrangement from his family.
However, we don’t think that Jason will want nor accept the mansion. That leaves the one person who has more invested in the home than anyone one else–Tracy. Before Jason, she was the family renegade, and she clearly thinks that the title belongs with her.
GH Spoilers: What Happens Next in Port Charles?
Tracy has been de facto matriarch since her latest return, with Monica out of action. Tracy has come a long way from her young days, when she withheld her father Edward’s heart medication as he rolled on the floor.
She is wiser, more compassionate, and to tell the truth, the rightful owner of the Q home. Tell us who you think should inherit the house GH fans!

[…] They face charges of murder, second-degree robbery charges, and one count of grand theft involving the alleged removal of a catalytic converter from another car close to where Wactor was killed. […]
[…] If Tracy steps into the role of the new family matriarch, can she unite the family as Monica once did? Monica managed to hold the clan together for years, largely because, despite her past missteps, the family held a deep love and respect for her. They may not have always adored her, but they recognized her authority. […]
[…] Michael is Monica’s grandson and he as much as anyone deserves the inheritance. There is just one problem. […]
I think that Jason and Tracy should own it together. Tracy should be able to accept Jason decisions when he has them because she knows he is fair with the family.
You have to remember that Tracy and Brook Lynn have not always been close. During that time, Lulu and Tracy had a wonderful relationship. Tracy knows it isn’t fair, but she really has a soft spot for Lulu and wants to in some way make up for the 4 years that Lulu lost.
I would think some where in Carly’s logic a warning from Jason concerning WSB Brennan should be enough for her to keep her distance from Brennan. But Carly has used him over and over getting him to do what she has wanted because she knows just how taken with her. So, does she have the hots for him like he does for her, i would say yes. But she can fallback on him doing things for her and she owed him. My opinion of Brennan is that he is a horrible human being and would screw over his own mother to do things that he needs to be done. Dishonest doesn’t begin to explain him and his actions.
