General Hospital Spoilers: Will Dante Blame Cassius for His Own Evidence Disaster?

General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) up to his neck in destroyed evidence-should he blame Not Nathan Reeves aka Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey)? It seems that would be the simplest solution to Dante’s destroyed evidence dilemma, since Cassius was a plant and also protected Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).
Jason Sent “Nathan” To Take Rocco Home From Pier 55 When It Happened
General Hospital fans will remember that ”Nathan” took Rocco home that night after Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) told him to-Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) had been unconscious.
Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) had acted rough to Britt, then she backed into her luggage and tripped and fell.
As for Jason, Rocco saw everything from beginning to end-which ended with Rocco grabbing a gun Jason kicked away and using it!
Jason was down, Britt was still knocked out, and Cullum was ready to strike Jason with a baton in the head, which could have killed him.
That’s when Rocco shot him in the back-and in the aftermath, “Nathan” showed up and Jason had him take Rocco home.
Anna Will Keep On Digging After Brennan Told Her To Drop It
Dante’s dilemma is that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will keep on digging for Cullum’s shooter even though Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) told her to drop it!
He did tell her that it wasn’t Cassius who shot Cullum in the back or removed the evidence but that the shooter was classified-of course, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) told Jack it was Rocco.

Jack told Anna no evidence file ever existed because Cullum was looking for it and the PCPD didn’t have one-so, of course Anna assumes it was stolen. Anna still suspects Cassius destroyed evidence in the PCPD whether he killed Cullum or not.
Laura Gives Dante A Heads Up
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) knows Rocco was the shooter, and Jason, who’ll be back soon knows “Nathan” brought Rocco home-and so does Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening).
She also was with Anna when Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) couldn’t find the files, and she gives Dante some intel-it might be a heads up about the missing evidence.
Sooner or later, Dante’s going to be questioned about that missing evidence, and Anna’s already suspicious of Cassius the way it is.
The easiest, most believable story that Dante could spin is that “Nathan” was handling the investigation, and he can verify Nathan took Rocco home.
And with the “official” story of Cassius being dead, that should take care of any future problems-“Nathan” was pretty much protecting Rocco too.
