The Young and the Restless spoilers, Audra crossed a line with Nikki. The two have become close in their working relationship. Audra is aware of Nikki’s drinking problem. She revealed that her parents struggled with alcoholism as well.
This had some Y&R fans assuming they would grow closer. However, Nikki doesn’t want unsolicited advice from everyone. She’s sick of Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) incessant concerns. She also ditched her sponsor Seth (Brian Gaskill) for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
On the Monday, January 29 episode, Audra spoke to Nikki about her sobriety. Nikki wanted Audra to take a job offer in London. Audra realized this was about more than a wonderful opportunity with Newman Media across the pond. She realized that Nikki wanted to get rid of her.
The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Audra crossed the line with Nikki’s sobriety. Nikki didn’t like the suggestions thrown her way. She told Audra that she was fired, effectively immediately. She promised that she would still give Audra a glowing review and an impressive compensation package.

Some Y&R fans think Nikki should hire Esther. They think she would be the perfect person to replace Audra. This was brought up on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards. The user YRFANATIC asked: “Why doesn’t Nikki hire Esther as Audra’s replacement? I think it would be a perfect solution, Esther has a lot of experience with running things.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest Esther’s experience with Chancellor/Winters would make her a shoo-in for the job. Esther could also help Nikki with her sobriety. Some fans took to the thread to share their thoughts.
