Young And The Restless Spoilers: Audra Realizes Nikki’s Back On The Bottle, Exploits Boss’s Grief For Personal Gain
Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) has been through a lot lately. Thanks to Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) and her shenanigans, she’s back on the bottle and desperately trying to hide it from her family members and Newman colleagues.
Still, secrets don’t stay secrets for long in the land of Genoa City, so when Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) figures out what’s going on with her boss, will she try and help her or use it against the Newman matriarch?
Y&R Spoilers: Audra Charles Will See The Signs
Y&R spoilers note that Audra could put two and two together. A recent scene between the two where Nikki was struggling on her first day back at work showed an interaction between Ms. Charles and the Newman Media CEO.
Audra could tell something wasn’t quite right with Nikki, but then again, Ms. Newman explained what had happened to her at the lake house, so Charles likely figured that she was still struggling to overcome the trauma of it all.
In general, people spend more time with their co-workers than their loved ones. As Audra and Nikki work so closely on Newman Media activities, will Ms. Charles figure out Ms. Newman has fallen off the wagon before her family does?
Y&R Spoilers: Audra Charles Only Cares About Audra Charles
Audra tends to lack any feeling and is very robotic. She doesn’t really have friends in Genoa City other than Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), and any romantic encounters have been all about sex. She shows very little emotion to anyone. Business is business, and her goals always come before anything else.
Audra tried to show concern for Nikki on her first day back; however, it seemed very forced. If she finds out that Ms. Newman is back on the bottle, will she try and help her boss or use it for her own personal gain?
She could blackmail Nikki into a promotion, more money at work, or simply choose to ignore the signs so that Ms. Newman makes a mistake that would have her leaving Newman Media.
This may result in an instant CEO promotion for Audra, considering her history and experience with the division.
While Audra has plans to take over Jabot with Tucker and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), she is also all about the “Plan B”, and being Newman Media CEO would certainly be a cushion to fall back on if things don’t work out with McCall.
