General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Ava Jerome (Maura West) gets an intruder alert that there’s been a break-in at Wyndemere. Ava assumes it’s Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) and goes on the hunt, gun in hand!
General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas Cassadine May Not Be The Intruder
Nikolas may not be the intruder, even though Ava is certain it must be-she had all the locks changed long before he disappeared, and the whole property has been sold.
Who else would break into Wyndemere unless it was some random thief thinking because it’s an isolated location they’d get away with a grand theft?
There are some artwork and paintings that Ava left there, hoping to add to the value of the mansion – but if someone stole the artwork they’d have to take the launch.
The only other way they’d be able to fence the goods would to be take their own boat for the getaway, and even then they’d be easily spotted. All the artwork has tracking devices, put in place just like the art in her gallery in case of theft, so they’d be easy to find.
GH Spoilers: Dante Falconeri Arrives
Dante Falconeri, (Dominic Zamprogna) who responds to the break-in notification separately, encounters Ava with a gun and tells her he thinks she’s trying to shoot an intruder.
He tells her that’s not a good idea, and to let the police handle the investigation-all she needs to do is fill out a report noting any damage or missing items.
But Ava doesn’t give up the hunt for Nikolas, even though she leaves Wyndemere and fills out the report-technically she’s not even the owner.
She tells Dante she had put up the castle and the island for sale and someone put down earnest money through a corporation, but the deed has not yet been transferred. Meanwhile, Ava is determined to hunt down Nikolas on her own and confront him.
General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Falconeri Returns With Laura Collins
After Ava and Dante talk and she tells him she has reason to believe this could be Nikolas, he returns later with Laura Collins, (Genie Francis) Nikolas’ mother.
There’s one thing that doesn’t fit with the break-in though, and that’s that Laura says there is a secret passage Nikolas could access that opens into the living room.
Ava is asked and she says she had the secret passage boarded over behind the living room entrance although she doesn’t know where it goes.
Dante goes into Wyndemere with a gun pointed and a worried Laura behind him-however, they find nothing and no one. Meanwhile, Ava is still on the hunt for Nikolas, because she’s not letting him get away with framing her for Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) murder!
