General Hospital spoilers reveal fans who are yearning for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) to get her groove back just might get what they want this holiday season.
Sasha was convinced she wouldn’t be able to commit to a relationship for a long time, and she warned Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) that nothing may ever come from the time they spend together.
He took that gamble in hopes that his optimism would win out, and it looks like this may be the one time his gambling really pays off for him.
Is a happily ever after in Sasha and Cody’s future? It’s too soon to say, but rumor has it they’re going to kick off the new year in style — together.
General Hospital Spoilers — Sasha Is Still Recovering
Sasha has been through the wringer, and she’s expecting to need a long time to get over all that has happened. Losing her husband and child was bad enough, but being betrayed so cruelly by her mother-in-law, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), really threw her for a loop.
It’s going to take time before Sasha really learns to trust anyone fully again, and the idea of a relationship sounds burdensome at times. How can she commit to someone when she’s terrified to ever become dependent on someone else again?
She may not have much of a choice as she comes to realize she already fell for Cody long ago.
GH Spoilers Spill Cody Comes Through — Again
Is Sasha tired of being saved yet? It wouldn’t seem so, but as Cody continues to come through for her again and again, it’s going to affirm to her that he’s here to stay.
That’s the kind of reassurance she needs after losing so much — and so many people she loved deeply. Working with Cody is only going to give Sasha increased exposure to never-ending support from Cody, and that’s going to serve him well as they grow closer after spending so much time together.
Of course, we imagine he already thought of that, even though he was willing to turn that job with Deception down if it meant it would make things harder for Sasha. She won’t forget that.

After all that Cody has done — rescuing Sasha from Ferncliff and Gladys, protecting her from sabotage on the air at Heart & Home, and bolstering her career and company by jumping on board at Deception — Sasha may be moved to try to give Cody the one thing he doesn’t have this Christmas.
Rumor has it she just might push for being more than friends this holiday season — but also, being family. No, Sasha is hardly ready for marriage again, but she is ready to see Cody get what he deserves: his father, Mac Scorpio (John J. York).
