According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, it’s not looking good for Chance. The new Chief of Police gets shot and fans want to know why.
He shouldn’t be on the scene, especially with his new title. Somehow, he ends up in a dangerous situation. The CBS daytime soap shared the preview for the week of November 6 to November 10 on its official Instagram page.
Guichard posted the promo on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards. In the video, Chance is seen lying in a hospital bed. It’s revealed that he got shot on duty and ended up in a coma.
Summer is the first woman to rush to his side once she hears of the news. Sharon seemingly walks in on their moment.
The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest this is how they end up in a love triangle. Chance still doesn’t know about Summer’s feelings for him since he’s unconscious.
She has no problem with divulging her feelings even though he’s in a coma. Sharon probably learns about Summer’s feelings for Chance and backs out of her relationship with him.
“It was really useless to make a love triangle, in my opinion, Sharon will withdraw from this trio. Can’t wait to see Summer/Chance,” one fan noted.

According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) returns. She learns about her son Chance’s shooting and rushes to the hospital as well.
Fans wonder how she’ll react to the news of Summer holding Chance’s hand. Some have complained about the age difference between the two characters. Meanwhile, other fans don’t like the age difference between Chance and Sharon.
“I am pretty darn sure Mama Nina will be more pleased with having young, fresh Summer holding Chance’s hand in the hospital than Sharon Rosales, who is likely old enough to be his mother,” one fan snarked.
“I hate they are writing this disappointing story for Sharon. People saying Chance deserves a young woman so he can have kids but last we heard, when he got shot in the abdomen he could no longer have kids,” another user argued.
The Young and the Restless fans don’t enjoy seeing Sharon in a love triangle with Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) daughter. They think she deserves better. Maybe Sharon and Chance will end up as friends after this moment. Summer could use this opportunity to get closer to Chance.
